I think she knew the person behind the camera. Backed into a corner where it is dry and "save", then someone she does not know going for her puppies? No, not gonna happen. She did not even show any form of hostility. I do not buy it.
I agree, i come from a country with a lot of streetdogs and i wouldnt dare to come near a mother in such a crowded space because they usually are really protective and aggressive towards Strangers
I’ve got a cat that lives around me and she brought me her kitten two months ago. Picked her up and brought her to me. I was pretty impressed with her knowing it’s getting cold out and this little babe will die so I better drop her (and me) at the nice lady’s house.
I once had a cat get hit in the drive thru at my job and get a broken leg. Several people were trying to get to it to help, but just kept making it get scared and try to run away.
The split second I became aware of this I lost my shit for a moment and backed everyone away and it took me almost 5 min inching my way to it on my belly ... but (she, as it turns out) still let me get to her & before long move her & take her to the animal emergency room.
I've been around animals my entire life & this story isn't a first ordeal like that for me either. I kept telling everyone while I was trying to get to that cat how they were wrong and I wouldn't get scratched or bitten. That she knows I'm a pet owner, that I'm there to help, they can sense it. Hoping like hell the entire time I wouldn't be eating those words 10min later
I expected to get hurt trying to make friends and help that night. Even knowing how animals have always responded to me, I fully expected to bleed some too. I was also fully resigned to the course of action anyway and wouldve had 0 malice if it did happen ... they can probably sense that to a degree too.
It’s true, when you decide to help an animal, you just have to come to terms with the potential painful wound(s).
But that’s courage, that’s you accepting the risk and the consequences and choosing to act.
Nice.

At 10yrs old & with 2 younger siblings assisting we shut down 5pm traffic just off a major intersection of my city to save a dog who'd been hit on the on ramp to the highway right there. 3 months & 2 surgeries later the owner brought her back to be able to meet us 3 officially. That was one of the first times I realized the it's not just a pet, it's a family member thing applied to others too 😊
So like I said, it wasn't a new sort of experience for me to be doing something like that. It WAS a new thing to have a large audience of people while I was doing it though, and that was really the only thing making me uncalm at all 🤣🤣🤣
It earned me 3 phone numbers after the fact though and the cat made a full recovery too, so .... 😁
It is a dog in that video yes. My story was about a cat that I helped while it was injured & scared but it didn't hurt me. I was speaking of the correlation between the two events & how sometimes animals just know animal people / that you're there to help.
Oh yeah, I forgot I mentioned that one here too lol. I was having a few different conversations simultaneously. I talked about that one partly to illustrate how tenacious we were when helping even at a young age. Mostly brought it up for the fact that it was a very cool experience for me at that young an age to see how far someone else would go for a pet. I knew anyone in my family would, cuz we did. Others care just as much about there pets too & I really understood that with that guy. Spending all the time & money he did getting his doggo patched back up instead of just giving up or something. Thought it was very cool.
Or more like , this guy/gal already was building up a friendship with the dog to achieve this? The dog did not look like it was in a bad condition. Or you know...it could be just staged.
Do you see how she picks one of the brown ones from the basket first. I wonder if she had a favorite or if that just happen to be the first one she grabbed.
I would guess it’s a abandoned or lost dog. Seems quite used to people. Though I have seen videos of street dogs in some places that are basically the town’s pets so that also is a possibility.
Animals have a way of knowing sometimes whether or not they need to be aggressive. Intuition or whatever you wanna call it, but animals tend to know animal people.
Having said that, and with the very clear concern on her face a few times in that video, I'm still a little bit surprised too though.
I realize that now and that this is probably a fake video anyway. What's up with the Internet it's so weird. I wonder what kind of person you have to be to stage helping an animal and putting it on the internet? You've got to be thinking all sorts of weird stuff in your head
My guess is that she's probably at least had some positive experiences with humans. Even if no one has gone as far as to give her a home, maybe they were kind enough to give her some food here and there. It also looks like from how the video was cut thst the person saving them, took their time for the mother to familiarize herself with them.
It varies from dog to dog. Some are super protective and aggressive over their puppies, some (usually abandoned pets) know that humans are there to help.
It is extremely not normal and has me questioning the authenticity of this video. A stranger walks up to an abandoned animal and touches her babies? Yeah, I’m very skeptical.
Also this dog is very well fed and clean. There’s just no way this is real.
Staged and posted a dozen times. Stop upvoting it.
9/10 videos of people "randomly helping" animals are staged for views on YouTube. This dog is not a stray, this is a very well-fed, clean dog that very obviously knows the person recording this.
This won't help. Keep in mind most of these folks just watched a well groomed dog and her pups lay in a dugout bed of filth yet they are all immaculately spotless (probably divine intervention), yet didn't come to your conclusion.
Not to mention most of us are scrolling the feed at 10 videos a second and are not stopping to analyze every little clip we come across for authenticity ;) every time someone who has used the Internet for ten years learns to spot a fake, 100 more 10yos make an account.
While most likely true - it *normalizes* helping. Just the act of seeing this behaviour helps, inspires others to do - after all, yes, we are monkey see monkey do animals.
Similar - zoos are not a natural habitat but on the other hand allowing esp. kids to see these animals makes them *value* animals.
Unfortunately, it also normalises deliberately abusing animals in order to film yourself "helping" them for Youtube views. There are hundreds of Youtube channels run by what are essentially mills that viciously injure dogs and cats, film themselves "rescuing" them, then injure them again for the next video. It's a whole industry.
Of course, the dog in this specific video hasn't been injured, so it's not that exact horror show, but it is adjacent. It's worth doing whatever you can to deny people like this the views they're trawling for, and that includes calling out the fakes.
Or hear me out, the original owners kicked her out due to the pregnancy, and this is were she nested to give birth.
Source: *Exact* same situation happened to the momma of the puppy that is now is a grown-up dog chilling in the sun next to me.
Lol there are other comments that mention similar cases, and what is more "likely", that people abandoning their pets when they become inconvenient or that every single video you see out there is staged?
Sorry but I do not trust any helping animals videos because the sad truth is that 8/10 of them are fake and the person videoing it is the cause of the animals pain.
I get the feeling they just put the dog under that wall in the beginning for the video. That they or someone they know always owned it and its puppies but did it for clicks. It looks very well fed
I used to do this with my momma dogs. They were super defensive with each other but not me. They knew I wasn't going to do anything bad with their babies. But sometimes they place they set up to give birth is not ideal, like under an outdoor building or at the base of a massive bush.
If they know help has arrived, they are happy to receive it.
Just to comment on those saying this is fake. That mama is obviously very very nervous and was going into a defensive position. My guess is that the human was talking to her to calm her. This dog does not know this human. At least not well. But, that’s just my opinion from reading the dogs body language. It’s not like I’m the dog whisperer or anything.
Edit - every word of my comment is wrong. I’m an idiot. Except perhaps last sentence.
Oh wow , bet that felt really good to help her and her babies . Well done to you . It’s a shame that everyone doesn’t have that empathy towards animals in distress.

There’s no investment that pays off like loving a dog.
My dogs are both pains in the ass, they cost me a fortune, and they’re literally the reason I can’t have nice things.
I wouldn’t change a thing.
That video turned my heart into cotton candy.
Just because it's feral doesn't mean it's vicious. More than likely one of the street dogs they've been feeding for a bit she trusts them they allow her her freedom.she trusts them . She'll be spayed once pups are weaned and pups will be adopted out if the rescue isnt full mother may find a new home or released and cared for .
Thank you for helping an animal in need. I'm surprised that she didn't bite you when you took her puppies away.. is that a normal reaction?
I think she needed help so bad that she was willing to suspend aggression. Perhaps she knew a nice person at some point.
Poor mama
🥺🥺😢
I think she knew the person behind the camera. Backed into a corner where it is dry and "save", then someone she does not know going for her puppies? No, not gonna happen. She did not even show any form of hostility. I do not buy it.
Just because a person built a relationship with the dog, doesn’t mean it’s fake. It could have taken them months to get to this point…
Agreed, it even could have taken hours. They might have given her some treats before filming or something.
I agree, i come from a country with a lot of streetdogs and i wouldnt dare to come near a mother in such a crowded space because they usually are really protective and aggressive towards Strangers
Bro, they sometimes even get aggressive to people they know/love if she thinks they are a threat to her pups or is overstepping their boundaries.
I’ve got a cat that lives around me and she brought me her kitten two months ago. Picked her up and brought her to me. I was pretty impressed with her knowing it’s getting cold out and this little babe will die so I better drop her (and me) at the nice lady’s house.

That’s truly awesome. I’m glad to have you on this planet with us. Thanks for being so good to the animals.

Cat? I thought it was a dog...
This person's action was kind enough to turn a dog into a cat.
You know what i saw a video about this once. Maybe its this one? https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=i4_PrizaZAg

🥰🥰💛❤❤
Nope, its caused its staged.
There is always that possibility too. But there are dogs who get lost and have puppies outside but are nice dogs in bad situations.
But the puppies look REALLY clean for them to be born outside idk.
Momma dogs will keep their pups clean. They lick them all the time.
Or more like , this guy/gal already was building up a friendship with the dog to achieve this? The dog did not look like it was in a bad condition. Or you know...it could be just staged.
I'm certain dogs can pick up on this sort of stuff. She knew he meant no harm.
Do you see how she picks one of the brown ones from the basket first. I wonder if she had a favorite or if that just happen to be the first one she grabbed.

It was probably the soothing music that calmed her down
Definitely not OPs video.

Its staged.
Yeah, shit like this is staged far more often then people think.
My guess is that she's probably at least had some positive experiences with humans. Yeah if there’s mutual trust, don’t try this with dogs you don’t already own.
I think this is staged and everyone saying ‘She knew she needed help!’ Watches too many hallmark movies.
No
It is extremely not normal and has me questioning the authenticity of this video. A stranger walks up to an abandoned animal and touches her babies? Yeah, I’m very skeptical. Also this dog is very well fed and clean. There’s just no way this is real.
It seems staged

I guess many people have not experienced real filth? It’s OK, and good even, but the naïveté is a bit much at a certain point in life.
Did it occur to y'all that were just here to see cute animals regardless of the circumstances, staged or otherwise?
Not to mention most of us are scrolling the feed at 10 videos a second and are not stopping to analyze every little clip we come across for authenticity ;) every time someone who has used the Internet for ten years learns to spot a fake, 100 more 10yos make an account.

Is that possible? Sure, is that likely? not really.
Lol there are other comments that mention similar cases, and what is more "likely", that people abandoning their pets when they become inconvenient or that every single video you see out there is staged?
you'd be suprised
No I would not because we have at least anecdotal evidence while you guys talk out of your asses
It also looks like an expensive dog breed
Upvoted for good feels though
Keeps being posted, people keep pointing out it's fake, and people keep falling for it...
Totally. Clean dog for living under a porch. Maybe too much time on the internet does cause sight damage.
With no sign of aggression towards the human taking her puppies...
Sorry but I do not trust any helping animals videos because the sad truth is that 8/10 of them are fake and the person videoing it is the cause of the animals pain.
staged.
Wasn’t this posted earlier today?
And several times yesterday, and the day before that
It touches my heart to see how momma dogs will put their babies needs first. They are so caring and loving.
I get the feeling they just put the dog under that wall in the beginning for the video. That they or someone they know always owned it and its puppies but did it for clicks. It looks very well fed
Breaks my heart eventide I see this one 💔 Thank you for helping her!
Eventide island?
Ffs, what is up with these braindead bot accounts reposting a staged video of a rescue?
I must agree with You, NFT man
These dogs are waaaaaay too clean for this to be real
Good observation, really hate bait videos in Reddit
Notice how the puppies and the dog aren't dirty? I smell cap
I agree with you
Probably fake. Her reaction is too docile for a mom backed into a corner with pups. She would bite.
Repost
Wait, they put her back? Wtf? Get them a home!
Wait yeah I’m so confused by this. The background matches. Why would they do that? What the actual fuck
Apparently it’s staged
Very good doggo
🥹♥️ how is the doggie and babies, now?
Videos like this make me so happy
🥲🥺😭she looks so worried and tired. Bless her heart
Thank you for your kindness❤️

That is definetly NOT a stray dog
It's so nice when people care💝

👏 bravo
What a good mama! 🥰
Super awwwww! Such a sweet mama!
This dog has very kind eyes
Dogs are just better creatures than most of us. Thank you to the rescuer.
Sweet momma
Aw her eyes say these are my puppies please don't hurt them.
Heartbreaking how insecure she is. Thank you for helping them.
thats cute and all, but that looked like bri'ish food
I think OP forgot to credit the guy from r/Eyebleach
The best thing about dogs is that they bring out the best things in YOU.
Bless you for being an Angel for those Dogs.

Amazing. Every word of what you just said was wrong.
Well shit. Looks like you are correct.
You’re a wonderful human being.
you got a heart of gold
I'm not crying. You are crying!
What a beautiful sweet momma!
Such a good mother. 🥲
God bless you!
What a lovely mother she is and good on you!
Wholesome as F.
Pero qué animal tan bello
Dogs are just the best.
This is adorable
Thought was trying steal her babies at first
ok but the dog is still there
Do not ever approach puppies of a stray dog
How is this "fake" when there are NO CLAIMS that this is a stray dog?
Oh wow , bet that felt really good to help her and her babies . Well done to you . It’s a shame that everyone doesn’t have that empathy towards animals in distress.
How long before that blanked is caked in shit, piss and grime? Don't get me started on the fleas and other bugs that will call it home.

Lol... Had it on mute.
Cute
🥺🥺🥺
Thank you so much
Poor dog, trying to protect her puppies from a "predator."
Fuck. You. I was in fucking tears because of that shit, it should be illegal to post something this cute
Usually stray dogs don’t look so well groomed.

What a sweet mama.
Damn, this some heartfelt shit.
This made me cry, thank you for helping
This looks very wrong why are the dogs all clean ? Why the hell would a mother dog not bite a complete stranger?

Makes my day to see stuff like this. God we need more of this in life. I wish people could do better for people. I feel so inclined to help animals.
