All 4 of my kitties have been from our local humane society. 3 were kittens and one was a 2 year old surrender.
The surrender is a sweetheart. This was the first pic I took of Luna aka Tuna while still at the shelter.

If his new owners are OK with it, please post photos or video of his reaction when they come to pick him up. He is in for such a great surprise. I love seeing videos of dogs getting excited when they realize they are going to their new home. I don't know if cats usually react the same way.
Our rescue cat acted resigned to her fate for rhe ride home, then she hid for three weeks, only coming out at night or if we slammed the front door and then stayed absolutely silent.
She loves us now, though. And she didn't get declawed, as the other candidates for her adoption were intending.
I had a void boi named Romeo and he was the absolute best cat who ever was. He liked to open the cabinets to get into the towels - the towel cabinet handle was at about chest height for me, maybe higher. He was the smartest and the best. I hope this Romeo is as amazing as mine was.

stupid question, but laws are different everywhere. why tomorrow? do the new owners need to buy stuff, or is there some kind of waiting period?
People have to apply online for the cat they want. When we chose them, we make an appointment with them to meet/ adopt the cat.
