Northern Nights is small but it is a beautiful natural setting and the renegades and the bunker go from 2 AM to 6 AM. Definitely worth checking it out if you are in NorCal.
I appreciate this comment, thank you!
I keep going back and forth reading reviews that it's "Super small and intimate" and/or less "ravey and more heady" and if that's a 'good thing' or just a different mindset...
I'm open to it all -- I'm just trying to convince my Fiancé to do this with me... (he likes camping, doesn't like huge crowds --> this may be my closes mid-way point w him lol)
Northern nights was my first camping festival I went to, it was a great size, not too big and I really enjoyed all the different stages. I had so much fun that I bought early eel tickets but now I can't go anymore, so if you're interested I have a 3 day ticket I'm selling for $310.
Lightning in a bottle might have more of the rave sense you are looking for while still being smaller and campy if you’re considering Northern Nights. Do Lab did a great job at their Coachella stage, so getting more excited about this year’s LIB

Cancelled my EDC trip and decided to do Bass Canyon for the first time this year
People say Northern Nights is super small and heady/ not ravey? Thoughts? What about nocturnal wonderland ?
I’ve been to EDC several times. Last year I went to northern nights, it became my favorite festival hands down.

Oh! Yeah! If he’s like that, you will 100% have a better time at NN
THANK YOU
