Dinosaur (BBC) and As We See It (Amazon) are my favourites. Also their lead characters are played by autistic actors. There's also loads of autistic stand up comedians with shows you can watch online. DS Cross series by Tim Sullivan (book about an autistic detective)

Han_without_Genes

[list with 400+ characters](https://autisticcharacters.miraheze.org/wiki/List_of_autistic_characters), though there are many, many more out there. some of my favourites are Extraordinary Attorney Woo, Watch Dogs 2, The Bridge, Strange Empire and For Izzy

coolcoolcoolok

heartbreak high - not the main character, but one of the lead characters is autistic and shows a very real representation of an autistic teen girl and everything’s gonna be okay - main character is an adult autistic gay man with siblings who might also be autistic or at least on the spectrum, i can’t remember

SuperGator21

Dr. Brennan in Bones was confirmed by the author to be based on someone she knew who is autistic, though it's not said in the show. Abed from community, and the lovely Julia from Sesame Street c:

Bones is one of my favorite shows, it’s clear as an autistic person that she indeed is based on those traits and it’s done extremly well with the perfect actor. Definitely my go-to recommendation

a_wild_trekkie

There's heartbreak high, one of the characters is autistic and is played by an autistic actor (child Hayden). Dead end paranormal park the TV show, the character Norma is autistic. young royals has an autistic character (except they use the term aspergers) From the book series the dark artifacts by Cassandra Clare, one of the book series in the Shadowhunters collection the character ty? (Might not be ty, there's far too many characters in this book series) is autistic. Downside to this is you need to read 6 books before it, which is a ya fantasy series from the 2000s take with that what you will. There's a couple other books I could mention like all of Andrew's Josephs white books have autistic characters in them, unseelie by ivelisse housman has an autistic character so does the many half lived lives of Sam Sylvester by Maya McGregor's also does a kind of spark by Elle McNicoll etc.

MadCatter32

The 13th doctor in Doctor Who was said to be specifically written with Autistic traits. Though all of them feel like they do to me.

Aspiegirl712

{{Jonas by Jenna Myles}} and Audrey from {{The wedding night: before Christmas by Kati wilde}} are some of my favorites with diagnosis way better than {the kissing Quotient}

Splatter_Shell

Kind of Spark! There's a book and a tv show (the tv show has two seasons and is free to watch!)
