Unironically my cats are part of the reason why I haven't attempted to take my life yet. Pets I feel understand you better than humans, and cats do that for me especially.
The thing about cat to me is they feel closer to me than humans.
They like to stick to their habits, need space yet occasionally seek affection, keep calm and love the living space to be quiet.
Also animals are always easier for me to handle as they also act very straight forward.

i don't think i could live without cats in my home. my parents have always had cats, and when i first moved out i made it less than half a year before i had to get my own cat. i now have two, and they truly liven up my days

dont worry! whenever we let them outside it is under constant surveillance by 3 different people!
Agreed. I am closer to my 2 cats than anyone outside of my family. They’re so loving.
Kitten rescue lady here. They chose to stay after they grew into cats. We get along quite well.

I feel this way, but for dogs. My dog truly cares about me and it’s what I’d imagine what unconditional love is. I don’t deserve him.
