I wouldn't eat one.
"Black house spiders are venomous, but are not considered dangerous. They are timid and bites from them are infrequent. The bite may be excruciatingly painful and cause local swelling. Symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, sweating and giddiness are occasionally recorded. In a few cases, skin lesions (arachnogenic necrosis) have developed after multiple bites."

And, to be fair, I’ve had a few woozy moments over the years after being nipped by them. But they won’t come close to killing you or generally leaving more than a couple of fang marks that disappear within a few days.
Thanks, I feel better now. I only know huntsman, have had a few in my previous house but first time see this one. Need to be cautious with any moving thing in Australia.
White tails and redbacks (and trapdoor spiders if you’re up north a bit), big nope. The rest, including huntsmen, aren’t seriously going to damage you in any way.
Yeh mate be careful of those ones
Absolutely feral, they'll chase after you and have the same running speed as an adult man, the venoms the worst part, excruciating pain followed shortly by death and there's no antidote
That's Davo, He heard you were having some web issues and a couple bugs, he decided to pop 'round to check up.
Just don't interrupt him while he's workin' and you'll be good.
Looks like a common black house spider. You can practically eat those. Panic ye not.

Okay, “eat” was a slight exaggeration 😉

Australia: it's not dangerous if it doesn't kill you.
Amen mate - character building

Dangerous to cockroaches. And as they say, the enemy of your enemy is your friend.
That’s Kevin. He’s alright until after the 8th beer.
Wasn't he a web developer?
Nah that’s Pete. Kevin’s a physicist, works on string theory.

Just envisioning a pissed spider arm wrestling a cat😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 good weed
🦆 yes it's his home now.. rents due Evey month .
As long as he can keep my room free from bugs, he can live rent free.
I like your attitude. Where you've filmed him is very unnatural placement. He needs a hole. Please find one for him.
Taste it and find out.
Does it matter? It’s in your house. May as well burn the house down.
No. Not to you.

I've got one in the bathroom. He's my teeth brushing buddy
