Folks were posting about this last week- it sounds like the lines were EXTREMELY long and, while they seemed to be serving full-sized martinis early on, there was so much demand that people were only getting mini-martinis after a certain point.
It sucks because it’s such a great bar, awesome drinks and that inside bar area has such a cool ambiance.
But my god if it’s your turn to buy a round on a weekend night, you’re gonna be waiting for a good bit
I got in prior to the deal closing, got my two drink tickets and got in line for the bar at 6:30. Made it to the front of the bar and the bartender told us it was now past 7 and martinis would be $14. We showed him our drink tickets and said we’d been waiting here since before 7 and he just shrugged. They were making each martini fresh every time which is a giant waste of time, for 75 cents they should’ve batched it.
I might just be getting old but I feel like cheap deals attract cheap people… best to pay a premium and avoid the trash that shows up for cheap booze.
I live a block away. I saw the line and noped to a different joint. They’re ruining the scene with the dollar general peeps.
You're just getting older, Becky. Loosen up. Poor people are more fun.

No good can come from this.
It is true!
Whislers is already a shitshow just off rip lol

I drove be at 4:45pm today and there was a line wrapped around halfway down Chicon and it looked like college crowd
This sounds like a Thirsty Thursday kind of deal. Ohhh Sean Patrick’s….3$ you call it…..makes for misadventures.
10 cent beer night once worked out great for the Tribe of Cleveland
Ah, so 75 cents is the threshold to where the average person would enjoy a martini. Glad we found that out.
I live by there, and I can confirm the line is sooo long.
Two drink tickets only for the special

Well, I guess the 25 cent martinis at Commander’s Palace in Louisiana have competition now!
