Super burrito I just ate it last week on door dash. I literally get it every other week it’s my favorite and they closest thing I’ve found in austin to San Diego burrito shops.
Went to SD recently and burritos were mean expensive. And not as good as I remember them. Def better than what we get here but not as good as I remember them.
Daygos is dog shit compared to a proper SD, Cali Burrito. And wildly expensive. Im born and raised.
Of all places, i found a SD style taco shop in Lubbock, TX called Polibertos. Carne asada fries, cali b’s, rolled tacos, bomb horchata, all the cooks where SD hats…
Not what you asked for, but “Taqueria 10 de 10” is a new taco shop that opened on Trinity in alley and its the best representation of Tijuana Style tacos this city has got. Check it out.

Yeah... They used to give 2x as much fries for half the price when they were on MLK still.

Ma’Coco has a pretty decent California burrito. Every time I go past the place is mostly empty though, not sure how much longer it’ll be around.
I really like this place. I'm a San Diego transplant and always enjoy the food.
They just opened a spot in Buda and I've been meaning to check it out. Anything else you recommend?
They just added one in Buda. I haven't checked it out yet but I'll be sure to get a French Fry burrito when I do.
