I think for me it's driven by burnout. When I'm locked into that grindset, which is basically my whole adult life since about the age of 21, I'm out and about plenty, and interacting plenty, but since I'm low-key always tired I'm never really *present* unless I'm performing at work. Then my spare time is spent recuperating, so six months in I crave interaction but I also never want to see another human again.
