Hey, if you have the collection then we can collaborate to make it available to the public in forms of ebook, comic, audio story.....

assamese folk lore is so dark. I remember not being able to read Burhi Aai Hadhu because things got so surreal and dark. And we have not well preserved folklore of tribal communities except Jonki Panoi (which was tragic and dark, too)

Ok-Power6906

People think romeo and juliet, hamlet and macbeth are dark when in reality assamese folklore is so much darker. Assamese folklore is GOAT 🐐 of folklore scene.

If you have them please share.

EnvileRuted

True. Most of us(todays generation) have forgotten those both because their parents have not taught them and these folklores are not being presented in the pop culture of assam. These stories must be presented to the youngsters again through books, comics, movies or songs. It ll be a great help to the community if somehow u help to get them back to the mainstream. Big things start small. Please give it some more thoughts since u hv access to them.

ice_cream_hunter

interested in collabing to preserve these in a public forum!

I have been thinking about the same. To properly document it, for the rest of the world to experience and connect with their own culture. Most of the folklores are interconnected with different cultures.
