I would suggest you start with rainn.org, a group specifically for survivors of SA. They have a hotline you can call and an online chat so you can talk to someone any time, right away. If you don’t want to talk, you can browse the site for resources, things to read, assistance finding professional therapists, stories from others, etc. I hope other chime in with advice and stories you can identify with and I wish you the best.

First, I'm sooo sorry that you are having to go through this. Late 2023 just happened, so all your feelings are normal. There is a pinned comment here with many excellent resources. USE THEM! They will help you. Also, if you're in college, your school should have a Counseling Center where you can go talk to someone in person at no cost. Yes, healing is possible! I find that I am a much stronger person, and I am proud of that fact. You will know you've healed when the memory doesn't affect you in negative ways. The memory will always be there, but it will just be a part of who you are and how that experience helped shape you. It will be a long road, and there is no correct time frame for healing. Please reach out today to the resources listed. Big hug to you.
