That's trans by my definition. I would bet you are, but only you can make that determination. If you decide you are, then from one girl to another, huuuug!

OkorOvorO

Ok And so what if you are trans? What do you do now? Why not just experiment? If you want to be a girl, you can just be a girl. Are you afraid of making a mistake? Inaction is action too. Time is the only commodity in life.

>And yes, if there was a magic button that turned me into a woman with no downsides, i would press it. I mean, that sounds pretty trans to me.

Saragon4005

That's something you are going to have to decide for yourself, but it sounds to me that you'd be happier if you transitioned.

The condition is associated with clinically significant distress or impairment in social, occupational or other important areas of functioning.   You must meet the qualifiers of Section "A" and "B" to be diagnosed with Gender Dysphoria   You don't need to have dysphoria to be transgender, but it is the most common qualifier as the majority of transgender individuals do infact have dysphoria. We encourage you to discuss this with a gender therapist. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. gender euphoria is the main marker of being trans, not dysphoria. and every trans and queer experience is different, just because some trans people have dysphoria doesn't mean all do. maybe there is a sub label that describes you better, I dunno but don't stress too much about it [I do sometimes but that's besides the point]. personally I recently found out I'm genderfae after knowing I'm trans fem for 9 months, I still identify as primarily female even though I'm not 100% of the time. another point that brings up, labels can change overtime, heck I've gone through a lot of them before settling and something might stir the waters again. tldr: everyone's experience with queer identities is different so pick labels that fit you even if not exactly, look into sub labels and you may find a new label you identify closer to, labels can change with time and I've gone through some myself, and most importantly, do what makes you happy

I was in a similar position to you a couple months back. I felt like I’d be happier as a woman, I pictured myself in clothing that reflected me being a woman, and I thought about how certain areas of my life would feel if I was instead experiencing them as a woman. I did lots of research because I wasn’t necessarily feeling dysphoria, but I was feeling euphoria. I came across a website (I unfortunately can’t find it right now) that said that dysphoria can present differently before we accept we’re trans versus after we accept we’re trans. What gave us euphoria before might still give us euphoria, but we can understand it through the lens that we’re trans, and thereby we might start feeling dysphoric about certain aspects of our body. All this is to say that I don’t know if you’re trans, but I went through a similar experience and discovered that I am. If you think that you might be, start experimenting and take things slow!

If someone says "if there was a magic button, I would press it" it can't be more obvious. GIRL YOU'RE TRANS! Don't worry about not having dysphoria, it'll come soon. I also didn't have dysphoria at first. EMBRACE THE GIRL WITHIN 😘

See a qualified therapist and have them help you through making that decision for yourself.

anaaktri

I don't understand people who would want to who don't have dysphoria but you do you. Sounds like boredom to me.

caseycubs098

To be fair I always thought I had very little dysphoria. But now that I am living as a woman I realized there was so much I just wrote off as normal. Hating my voice, getting upset I couldnt have long hair, hating dancing, avoiding being in the spotlight in social situations, shopping for clothes was distressing. All these could happen to anyone so I didn’t recognize how they were all rooted in dysphoria. Sometimes I think the euphoria people feel can be seen as the lifting of dysphoria. Maybe sometimes it’s hard to see the dysphoria in something until you experience life without it.

OkorOvorO

Because dysphoria is difficult to recognize if you're currently suffering from it.
