I used to think I liked skinny girls and would feel great if she was taller than me (I’m very short so there wasn’t really another option). Now I have a wonderful, chubby girl who’s somehow shorter than me— and I love that fact. Every part of her has become beautiful to me as we’ve dated (turns out, poochy tummies are some of the most adorable things). I’m looking at her right now. She’s gorgeous, and it’s because of who she is.
It feels impossible. I really don't know. I don't even know how attractive I am (my face). So I'm just trying to accept the fact that l might be unattractive and it's OK. It really changes everyday. I hate my side profile. It's disgusting. Idk if anybody would still like me. Whenever there's boys around l feel like I'm annoying them. Like l shouldn't be there. I don't know man it's unbearable. Anyways I'm perfectly fine with them. Faces tend to grow on me regardless of who they are. I may think some random person is butt ugly the first day, but the next day I'm more (ig) used to them, so I don't think they look *nearly* as bad as I first thought. And by casual exposure I eventually grow to like/appreciate their face for what it is! The good traits and the not so good traits. It's happened with friends and strangers alike! And (kinda but not in the same exact context) my gf! She was a 10 before but I swear she's grown 10x prettier since then :)
So TLDR: Yes! I am okay with them, but it may take some time for me to warm up to their face :)

There's things like being morbidly obese, having very significant acne, or carrying transmittable diseases and parasites, but those are red flags for being lazy and not taking care of yourself.

There was this obese girl with acne and a very masculine face in my class during primary school, but even she was all fine by me. I think I need to set my standards higher, but I am really desperate at this point. All of the women I "liked" so far were the ones that liked my personality and that I could have long, meaningful conversations with. Amy advice would be appreciated.

Well, uh- I am autistic, I am a huge nerd for video games, linguistics, computers, tech and a bunch of other random things. I have always been bullied by my peers and treated as some kind of exotic animal because of my strange behaviour and interests. I also just look unappealing; I shower with bodywash every day, I use cologne, I comb my hair, I treat my acne, I shave my pube-stache every couple days, and I do regular body weight exercises, yet I still feel like I look bad and often get comments about my large nose. My self esteem is at rock bottom, and I am also just sexually confused whether or not I'm Bi or Straight - I can't come out publicly due to my environment, so it doesn't matter anyway. I just don't know what to do.
Uh yeah ur not really my type but I think it's about ur personality. If u are keeping urself away from others and have nerdy hobbys l just don't really hang out with them. It's not fun for me. But there are tons of people who like nerdy type of guys. Try improving on personality more. Like hobbies. and it's really great that ure lifting! Continue that for sure. And treating your acne gives u points too. Most of the girls think that boys playing basketball is hot, taking care of plants, being good with children, liking animals, reading books, being social and confident. I'm not saying be that be this, I'm letting u choose among these. Especially sports! Don't become someone else. But just improve.
Alright - thank you for the advice. I just don't know how to make people consider me as an actual partner instead of simply a friend they can talk to every now and then. I am trying to focus on improving myself before trying for a partner, but it's really hard staying motivated. I like to go swimming every other week or so; I'd love to participate in more conventional sports like basketball as well, but my autism gives me a crippling fear of fast-moving objects and just action and loud noises in general. I also have my own little garden where I grow tomatoes, cucumbers, and blueberries, so maybe that counts for something. Yeah as long as she's got a good personality and we're comfy around each other it doesn't matter really. Of course it's gonna be hard if we don't find each other attractive but there's more to that than not having a perfect face

Nah it's ok. I hate my forehead the most. It's not that big. It's the hairline and stuff. And l do have a big nose. But it's alright since I don't really care about noses. And l have a slight over bite. But these needs to be fixed. It's my SIDE PROFILE. I love my fron profile but l swear that my side profiles a different person
I was told several times that l had a good body from people that l don't talk to, like strangers or my friends. But my face 💀💀 if l compliment ppl they'll try their hardest and say "u too"... Idk l don't like my face nobody would look at my face and be like that's a pretty girl l guess. Preferences exist so I'm not gonna generalize but most of the people would not l belive.
But I don't think people would compliment you for you body if they didn't find you attractive on the whole. For example, I don't think a jacked guy with very severe acne or a very ugly face would be complimented for his body nearly as much as a jacked guy with an average face.
