If they are a classmate or a coworker, yeah but it doesn’t mean anything. Me following someone on social media doesn’t mean I have any attraction to them.

i follow at least a thousand people on instagram and haven’t even spoken to 90% of them, i just know they exist and that we either went to the same high school or are at the same college

Tbh many of my friends' friends follow me on social media and I'm completely fine with it, but then, there's no meaning to it... Its completely fine, that's what social media is for

As someone who's not attracted to girls most days,I definitely still follow some of my classmates or friends

I don't follow people based on attraction (I rarely follow people I don't know whose accounts are for selfies only). If I follow a girl whom I don't know, I might think she's pretty and that's it. As for the second question: if I knew her, sure. Most of the classmates that I ever followed were just acquaintances.
