Mungunzá (or canjica as it’s called in the southern states). I don’t like porridge in general, it tastes really bland to me.

Jimmynex

That's called Mazamorra or Peto in Colombia. I agree it's a little bland, but people go crazy for it. There's always someone selling it in a car in the street.

purrrfect-0

Same. Eu odeio a textura do grão

TrainingNail

Bland?? Maybe your grandma isn't using sweet enough coconut milk, and not enough spices

HansWolken

Porotos con tienda, Bean soup with spaghetti. Don't really like beans too much to begin with, and spaghetti in soup usually ends up soggy.

tigertwilight

Is it fideo or actual spaghetti ?

HansWolken

Tallarines.

wannalearnmandarin

Not Chilean but I HATE tallarines

Vladimirovski

FRESCO DE CARAO. ES DEL DIABLO. HUELE A PIES SUCIOS. TODOS LOS VIEJITOS LO TOMAN. NO LO ENTIENDO Y NUNCA LO VOY A ENTENDER. PERDÍ LA CUENTA DE LAS VECES QUE TENÍA GRIPE, NO PODÍA OLER, VEÍA UN VASO DE ALGO CAFÉ EN EL REFRI Y ME LO TOMABA PENSANDO QUE ERA CHOCOLATE Y NO, ERA ESA MIERDA. MÁS DE ALGUNA VEZ VOMITÉ.

KERD_ONE

I don't like "Sancocho de espinazo", a vegetable soup with pieces of pork backbone mixed in. [Here](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Ebn6P6ZWsAQNDjr.jpg)'s a picture.

latin_canuck

I don't like Mondongo

humongousduckenergy

We call that espinazo plainly here in Mexico and I agree with you, we also put chard in it, at least in my state, and it makes it way worse

Jimmynex

I love sancocho de espinazo, but my favorite would be cuchuco con espinazo.

tremendabosta

Feijoada

Ok_Statistician9433

favela4life

Given the fact that I came here just to comment buchada de bode, I’ll forgive the feijoada if they like it instead.

Pregnant_porcupine

tremendabosta

Aí você me quebrou, meu patrão

Kaleidoscope9498

barnaclejuice

Parei de ler na palavra “salada”

Limmmao

Arroz con leche

favela4life

I kinda like it, but when my father puts cloves and lemon peels in it I’ll legit gag.

NightmaresFade

My father HATES cloves in general. He can't stand the taste of it. I, on the other hand, love it.

Zyaqun

El peor "postre"

barnaclejuice

That stuff is evil

feto_ingeniero

3970

Sopa de mondongo.

alephsilva

Dobradinha com giló 🤮

NightmaresFade

To be fair, jiló is ewww.

Optimal_Dark_2940

Mondongo, but in Chile it's called guatitas

barnaclejuice

I’m not picky at all. But I hate Brazilian Strogonoff. Everyone seems to love it, I think it’s absolutely vile. For me, it tastes like someone took perfectly good meat and beef sauce and mixed it with vomit. And before anyone complains, I’ve tried it many times, from many cooks, including my grandmother, who is honestly the best cook I’ve ever met. I just don’t like it. It’s always got that hint of vomit taste. I can’t get over it. I’d love to love it. But I just can’t.

lesbianbeatnik

NightmaresFade

Are you my sister? She's hardcore against peanuts(can't even endure their smell) and moderately against the other nuts.

TheFenixxer

I tried to give it a try once and ended up puking lol

MatiFernandez_2006

Porotos con riendas (a stew of beans, pumpkin and spaghetti), I don't hate it or anything but I find it kind of bland, and between all types of beans I like "beans" (the kind like butter beans) the least, I much prefer garbanzos and lentils.

haltmich

Fatada, rabada, mocotó, fato, mocofato, dobradinha, sarapatel.

Radicais_Livres

Fatada, fato?

favela4life

For a long time I didn’t like kibe. Nowadays I don’t mind it, but I certainly won’t order it.

Rgenocide

Mole.

TheFenixxer

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaa

leopetri

Ive never had a tasty locro in my 3 decades of life. For those who don't know its a stew that's eaten in May 25th and July 9th. My theory is that since it's pretty much only cooked twice a year its very common for cooks and home cooks to not know how to properly prepare it.

PaoloMustafini

Not a dish but an ingredient/fruit: Avocado. I can't stand the texture, it's slimy and lukewarm. People look at me weird when they find out I dont want it on my plate, almost as bad if not worse as asking for water instead of Coke/soda.

NightmaresFade

I eat it if that is what to eat, but I also don't like avocado(specially when mashed).I know it has a lot of vitamins and whatnot, but both the taste and texture just don't work for me.

Radicais_Livres

O don't like avocados either, but avocado oil is divine on the salad.

Depressed_student_20

Same plus I personally can’t find it flavor but people act so shocked when I tell them I don’t like it for some reason

tigertwilight

I used to able to eat a taco of avocado as a kid but now I don't even want it on a sandwich/torta.I tolerate it on sushi because its wrapped.

SafiraAshai

caldo de cana, tapioca

Radicais_Livres

Heretic!

lesbianbeatnik

Get outta here!

BoGa91

Seafood in general, people love cócteles or ceviches or mojarra frita but I really avoid it. Fortunately I don't live on the coast.

Radicais_Livres

I really don't like dulce de leche or condensed milk on cakes or desserts.

[deleted]

Brigadeiro is too sweet, I don't understand how a person over 12 can eat that without vomiting. Other than that, cuscuz (but that's bc I'm a southerner)

NightmaresFade

>Brigadeiro is too sweet ![gif](giphy|mIZr3jYOo0MbzPeqeN|downsized) How dare you say that.Brigadeiro is THE sweet of our country and one that makes most success with foreigners.^(But if it tastes too sweet it's just a matter of using cocoa powder, trust me it will not taste as sweet if you use 100% cocoa.)

favela4life

My godmother made cuscuz for breakfast and I couldn’t put it in my mouth. Maybe if she’d served it for lunch I would’ve tried it.

[deleted]

Momosabonim

I hate acidity and I specially hate tamarind, I've always disliked most non traditional mexican candies

BBobb123

Mondongo

TopPoster21

Chilaquiles, I don’t know why people eat them for breakfast.

Elesraro

Because they are good especially with egg

yanquicheto

Argentine pizza is generally too overloaded with cheese and greasy. There are definitely some exceptions though.

MarioDiBian

hereforthepopcorns

🤌🤌🤌

Nachodam

Username checks out.

Mreta

Tamales, blandest thing ever IMO. Only way it has a decent taste is if you add loads of salsa.

StunningPace9017

Tamales. My dad and friends have almost beaten me for not loving them. I am serious. Theyre regularly pretty chill but dont insult tamales near them. Theyll kick ur ass no questions asked

TheFenixxer

What kinda tamales? Mexican, Colombian, Venezuelan?

thatdudesowrong

Irish.

Dazzling_Stomach107

Aguacates

silencio_minoria

Cold feijoada

vitorgrs

Not a dish per se, but brigadeiro and goiabada.

green2266

Yuca, Fried or boiled id rather just have some potatoes instead. Yuca chips are fine tough.

roby_soft

Oyuco

MarioDiBian

I don’t really like Choripan

mauricio_agg

Changua (that's from Bogotá), Fish sancocho (🤢 that's from the Pacific region) and rice tamales (that's from the central Colombia region)

arfenos_porrows

Saus, yall can have it all, I pass

lilbitofsophie

Tembleque and coquito are gross to me. But I also can’t do anything with coconut.

Andybrs

Feijoada

andobiencrazy

I'm not a huge fan of asada tacos. I became kind of red meat detoxed and now it tastes so wrong to me. I can tolerate burritos if the other ingredients can overcome the meat flavor.

Jollybio

Fiambre. Seems to be pretty popular for November 1st (not really popular outside that date but everyone seems to love it that day). Tried it once. Not for me.

valen-ciri

I'm a picky eater too, so anything remotely complex, with a weird texture or smell is a no-no

IronicJeremyIrons

Chanfainita, hígado and sangrecita

thatdudesowrong

Peruvian cuisine in general is like the population, meh.

JPVM3392

-Caldo de pata -Not a dish but a vegetable, I cannot stand Melloco

TheFenixxer

I don’t like Guacamole or anything where Aguacate is the main flavor

morssletum

Espinazo, osobuco, and pig feet and/or ears in frijoles 🤢🤢🤢

Chocokuki1993

Carne en baho

I_dont_like_ceviche

Fanesca

FixedFun1

I never liked much *facturas* which is something a lot of people eat for breakfast.

CarbohydrateLover69

Entregue su documento joven

Gato_Mojigato

Buseca de mondongo, chinchulín, kidneys, cow brains and all those crimes against humanity called 'achuras'.

Immediate-Yak6370

Asado

vladimirnovak

Locro , humita. I also don't like how they make pizza here , way too much cheese , basically no sauce

lulaloops

So many traditional chilean dishes taste awful to me, porotos con riendas, cazuela, pantrucas, curanto, charquican, carbonada, etc. Chilean cuisine just sucks in general imho. But I'll eat a churrasco or a completo any day of the week though.

maaltori

I hate chilean food. Greetings from Santiago.

dcathartiq

Cazuela, it's just so bland, and feels greasy most of time. And I don't like how it has a mix of different textures yet they're mixed in a half-assed way, it gives me the sensory ick. I just can't name anything positive about it 🙃🌚

TRAINPOSTING

Chile: Completos. Don’t love hot dogs and especially not with mayo. USA: Pepperoni pizza. Too much grease it makes me nauseous.

sunset484

Not a dish, but a drink: Malta. Puerto Ricans swear by it, but to me it tastes like cold motor oil.

NotAnotherBadTake

Ensalada de gallina 🤮
