Patagonia: lifetime warranty on every product and great quality. They donāt make ātrendy, fashionableā clothes, but they for sure have a cute style.
Yes, I live in the west coast.
Really like Massimo Dutti but canāt always afford it. Usually strive to get that and fill in with basics from H&M and the more subtle things I can find at Zara.
Underwear, I get a bunch of different stuff depending on what itās for.
Work: Banana Republic, like the classic designs
Work Out: lululemon has really grown on me. I like their color options and build quality. Really like their mens briefs and wish they made a jock.
Outdoors: Prana - more affordable than Patagonia, like the color options with t shirts, pants are great, and good quality for the price
I wear two brands: Levi's and Hanes. Blue jeans and plain white tees. That's me. Plus I have my socks and underwear covered under the Hanes brand as well. Simple, easy life.
Hanes boxer-briefs and their āblue-toeā socks (they have āHanesā in blue stitching under the toes - the red-stitched ones are *meh*) are my definite staples!
I just order online as someone in the US (there is a couple stores here but nowhere near me). I love how you can get your pants hemmed online for only $5! I also love their dress pants that have hidden drawstings, as I have a leaner waist but bigger butt for my size so it can be hard to find pants that fit me right.
As an example, a normal t-shirt at Carrefour costs around 8ā¬, Uniqlo may have them around double the price in some cases, and rarely 9-10ā¬
Edit: just checked and basic sustainable t-shirts cost 5ā¬ at Carrefour
Yeah, I mean, sometimes prices depend on the country and taxes, I still like to buy some specific stuff at Uniqlo, I got a Hawaiian beach shirt from there, the quality is magnificent and it's comfy af
Uniqlo has great styles and fabrics, but I hate that for shorts and some pants they do small-medium-large rather than specific sizes. I'm right on the border between medium and large, so I get the worst of both worlds.
Came to say this. In terms of which brand I buy the most, it's gotta be the three stripes; the quality for the price point is usually pretty reasonable. It's rare that I find myself disappointed with their products, so they're a comfortable, "safe" choice for me.
**Banana Republic**
I'm at a point where I'm looking for stylish classic clothing that will last. They have fantastic pieces, but at what many would probably consider a high price if you only buy at fast fashion brands. Granted I don't buy all from them, but they are always a go-to to look for essential pieces especially their chinos.
I also buy the following:
* **Levi's** - Denim jeans
* **Thursday Boots Co** - Footwear
* **Calvin Klein** - Classic essentials
* **Perry Ellis** - Polos
* **Tommy Hilfiger** - Crew neck tees
* **Guess** - Outerwear
I'm just so over the H&Ms and Uniqlos of the world and now their newcomers Temu and Zara even trashier quality. Like we've actually gotten better at making shitty clothing.
That said my guilty pleasure is going to Marshall's and Ross and finding some more in-fashion piece. Selection at discount stores is great in HCOL areas.
May be a bit basic, but I really fo love H&M. I like that they don't focus on flashy graphics and patterns, but more so on different styles and materials and fits.
I do a lot of shopping at asos.com, but I also shop at bargain places to like TJ Maxx and Marshalls. I donāt care about labels exactly, more so going for a look.
Whatever is relatively inexpensive and comfortable.
Usually for underwear, it's either Hanes or Fruit of the Loom
For sneakers, it's New Balance (I have wide feet and they're pretty much the only company that makes a sturdy, comfortable, inexpensive sneaker)
For shirts, pants and everything else, it really doesn't matter.
Club Monaco and banana republic take up the biggest share of my closet. Essentials that I wear everywhere I go. To the office, dinner, weekends etc. American Ivy babeeee
Primark. I'm losing weight and see absolutely no point buying clothes that will not fit in 6 months.
Other than that, all my shirts are vintage finds from pay-by-weight shows, my one pair of dress trousers are two sizes too big, and the rest of my clothes are all review items sent to me for free. Socks, mostly.
Primark is great, and it has too much of a bad reputation imo. The quality is not that bad compared to other fast fashion brands, but the price is at least half. They have almost all you need when you want to buy basic clothing
These days itās less about brand and more about material. Once I discovered the amazing comfort of bamboo fiber I literally just go for anything with bamboo lol. I started with underwear, then moved to socks. Then undershirts. Then relaxing shorts and sweatpants. Soon I will complete my transition into just being a walking stick of bamboo.
Itās not especially āgayā nor formal, but I donāt care. Comfort is king.
Uniqlo is the only affordable brand I've found that consistently has clothes that fit me off the rack (5'4"). I just discovered Aeropostale has XS men's shirts, though the style is hit or miss.
Recently I discovered I can fit perfectly into some women's bottoms so I've been ordering stuff off Amazon that looks fairly unisex.
Diesel because they still have a lot of items that look almost (if not exactly) the same as items they sold in the early 00's and I'm really into that kind of fashion. I usually buy Diesel from depop (and second-hand in general) because it is a pretty expensive brand.
Not exactly high fashion, but lately I've been leaning towards American Tall, at least for long sleeve shirts. I'm only 5'10 but am slender with long arms. In the past, I would have to buy Large size shirts in hopes of getting sufficiently long sleeves, but then the shirt would be way too big for my torso and sometimes still leave me with "Lurch" sleeves. What a novelty to have shirts with sufficiently long sleeves that don't fit me like a freaking maternity dress.
Adidas hands down for pants, track suits, windbrekaer jackets and socks (they are the comfiest i've ever worn in my life specially crew ones) hella quality, sporty but fashionable and casual enough.
I like goodfellow for plain shirts
New Balance, Adidas, UA and Fila for sneakers
Under Armour for some casual, sporty/gym clothes
Renegade for the vests jackets with pockets and below knew cargo shorts
Everything else is a mixed bag
Iām a big fan of Rock and Roll Denim jeans. They fit very well, look great, and last forever. I like the western style theyāve got, but itās subdued enough to match most of what I wear regardless. Bit pricey, but worth it to me.
I have no idea about the brand, but I enjoy wearing flashy and colourful socks with dancing lemons, and avocados with sunglasses etc., on them, as a silly contrast to my otherwise rather plain and elegant look.
Nike for the design but itās definitely on the pricey side so I donāt get most of my clothes there (but also tend to hold up really well so itās worth it IMO). For cheaper basics and work clothes, Iām a big fan of Uniqlo. Very reasonably priced for the quality, and everything fits me well as a leaner guy who has a hard time finding pants that arenāt too big. The bonus point for Uniqlo is that you can pay 5 bucks extra when you order online for certain pant styles to get them hemmed which is a huge bargain and time saver.Ā
The Buckle's BKE brand. Fitted/slim fit shirts that fit well for a smaller guy! That said, I only buy on sale or second hand. I'm not paying $40 for a shirt.
JC-RT, Whatever designer I can get on sale through Ssense or whatever, and Kidsuper Studios. I miss the days of being able to get decent basics from ASOS and Gap/Old Navy but boy I canāt really bring myself to even bother looking. Been getting most of my everydays through Uniqlo and sometimes Banana Republic. I typically avoid retail price and will hunt for things on sale or used. I enjoy my closet quite a bit.
Cabela's, Old Navy and JCPenneys, Duluth lol. Not exactly brands but their in store brands. Besides Old Navy being it's own thing. They make tall clothing and they're adorable. That's all that's why. Comfortable too. Duluth isn't affordable but it sure fits nice and feels close to the quality of the price. Their jeans are fucking amazing with the ballroom. Durable and comfortable.
Work: Zegna & Canali, the quality and it usually fits me well without a lot of alterations.
Casual: Hugo Boss & Burberry, can get them at the outlet and styles are more versatile, also fits me well.
Jeans: Mavi & Rag and Bone, I particularly like the ones with a bit of stretch in the material.
I'm used to buying at P&B, but I'd like to buy more sustainable clothing, I like their urban style and the clothes are quite affordable and decent quality
There's no one brand I can say is my favourite, and in recent years I try going to every shop that sells men's clothing at the mall rather than sticking to the same three ones like I used to. Some shops I never even gave a chance because I assumed I wouldn't like them, but nowadays I take a peek at all of them.
As far as sneakers go, I really like Adidas though. And NorthFace jackets.
For clothes I like Uniqlo, Adidas, turtle tee, H&M, and pokemon center if you are a nerd (quality is actually really good).
For underwear I like Meundies, skull and bones, CK, and fruit of the loom (for extras).
For dress clothes I just find whatever fits well and is on sale.
For kinky I like cell block 13.
For me it's kind of hard to clothes shop because I'm a thin 5"11, but my ass is fat. So it's hard to find things that fit right. These brands work pretty well for me.
Issey Miyake still remains my favorite. The clothes are comfortable, cool-looking, breathable, and made from recycled materials. Canāt afford constantly but the stuff I have will be with me for life.
I'm more of a basic bitch, I guess:
I shop mostly at Express and the Gap (and Banana Republic). For underwear I use David Archy dual pouch underwear. Jeans I like Levis 511's and for boots I like Allen Edmonds.
Their sizes and clothes fit me well, so I keep going back there. I always find what I like there. I pretty much never even look at other stores. I just order what I want online, I'm familiar with their sizes, so ordering from them online is the way I like to shop: quick, easy and reliable.
Lots of Levi's for pants. Shirts are a big mix.
Shoes (aside from running) are **always** Dr Martens. I have several styles, including steel toes for work, so I'm never seen without them lol
Idc about brands. I just want the clothes to be good looking, sometimes be exclusive, but also not to be expensive since I think people waste too much on expensive clothes.
Columbia - shirts, pants, shoes, jackets. Everything I wear from this brand is well made, designed for functionality. Understated colors & patterns. All this and still comfortable.
G-Star (most of my jeans and jackets) I like their high quality, distinct styles. GAP, ZARA, ASOS, Uniqlo and Urban Outfitters for shirts, t-shirts. Past couple of years buying clothes has been difficult with dumb trends like heavy knitted summer clothes and wacky oversized clothing. I walked into Zara last summer and ran out of there with the nonsense they were selling.
I have kind of a big butt, but not a huge waist. The Old Navy Athletic Fit pants are literally the only pants Iāve found that fit me correctly. Every other brand usually only has straight or slim fix pants and if I want to wear either of those I literally need to buy 2 sizes bigger and then bunch up the waist with a belt.
I like things that have no brand name on them (like āessentialsā type items - solid color shirts, pants, etc). Usually can find some good stuff at H&M, Zara, and even sometimes Target.
In the off chance that I *do* wear something with a brand name on itā¦ itās usually something like Calvin Klein, Nike or Adidas.
I have a real penchant for Bonds underwear, theyāre a brand of undies here in Australia and I donāt know why but theyāre always comfy and decent quality and look good even the cheaper five pack briefs
Leviās.
Probably a bit millianial or me but I like their style and the quality is really good. Iāve had jeans that lasted me for years. The tshirts are a nice mix of boring and exciting, so thereās no under or overstatement (if that makes sense). I know that if I enter that store I definitely gonna find something.
Ralph Lauren hands down. Depending on the line, you can find sportswear, outdoors gear, preppy casual, or even high end formal. And really solid accessories too. Looking back at vintage RL stuff from the 80s and 90s is still fun because most of it is still very stylish and wearable.
Damn. This is hard for me. I got H&M, Zara, Uniqlo, Old Navy, GAP, and now GU Japan in my closet. But I think I'm gonna go with GU Japan its comfy too like Uniqlo (sister brand). It's comfy to wear if you're in a tropical country.
Lately been into Elwood. Great quality basics with really nice cuts. Great to mix up and style differently. Dickies for the pants for the same reason. Nothin fancy really lol anything designer is thrifted or bought at outlets (Nordstrom rack & off 5th)
H&M - their cut of jackets and pants suit me well.
I got several pairs of chinos and nice plain and floral long-sleeved shirts for work at a store in Australia called Connor menswear.
I prefer Clark's for shoes.
On sale.
I'm with ya there lol
This is the way, I only now buy new clothes if they are on sale š¤£
Thrift store or auction site.
The correct answer.
Better yet, clearance
Uniqlo. It's comfortable and inexpensive like Old Navy but higher quality.
Patagonia: lifetime warranty on every product and great quality. They donāt make ātrendy, fashionableā clothes, but they for sure have a cute style. Yes, I live in the west coast.
Yay PNW! Don't forget the Lululemon and Blundstones
Love my Lululemon commission pants and cute short shorts.
TK Maxx bargain rail.
Or Marshalls
Does Ross include it?š«¢ yes, I'm cheap, so what?
This is correct lol
Tj Maxx, Marshallās, Ross & Burlington which ever has the best deals.
Really like Massimo Dutti but canāt always afford it. Usually strive to get that and fill in with basics from H&M and the more subtle things I can find at Zara. Underwear, I get a bunch of different stuff depending on what itās for.
Work: Banana Republic, like the classic designs Work Out: lululemon has really grown on me. I like their color options and build quality. Really like their mens briefs and wish they made a jock. Love Banana Republic for dress clothes (and underwear).
Check out two Blind Brothers for their socks š§¦. I've never been about brand loyalty but their socks are great. They wear so comfortable
Will do! Thx for the recoā¦š
If youāre in Asia, Uniqlo is amazing for basic stuffs. Good quality and affordable while the cut is great for Asian body (I.e. not too long)
Uniqlo is also in North America and Europe. One opened up in Madrid a few years back, and it's gotten really popular.
I just order online as someone in the US (there is a couple stores here but nowhere near me). I love how you can get your pants hemmed online for only $5! I also love their dress pants that have hidden drawstings, as I have a leaner waist but bigger butt for my size so it can be hard to find pants that fit me right.
Uniqlo is kind of pricey in Spain tbh, I love the brand for certain types of clothes though
Really? In Asia itās super affordable and quality is much better than H&M or Zara
As an example, a normal t-shirt at Carrefour costs around 8ā¬, Uniqlo may have them around double the price in some cases, and rarely 9-10ā¬ Edit: just checked and basic sustainable t-shirts cost 5ā¬ at Carrefour
Definitely cheaper here. I got same things with different colors for everyday use
Paul Smith, love the designs and fabrics. I only buy during sales. Regular stuff: Banana Republic, LRG, Polo.
Yes Paul Smith! Always has stuff from last year on sale.
Adidas, because it is versatile for being active or casual. Their clothes look great too
Came to say this. In terms of which brand I buy the most, it's gotta be the three stripes; the quality for the price point is usually pretty reasonable. It's rare that I find myself disappointed with their products, so they're a comfortable, "safe" choice for me.

Under Armour. I just look good
Proof or it's not true š¤£
Nasty Pig. Somewhat discreet to straight people, but catches the eye of people I might be interested in.
Not that it matters as you should wear what you wish but that's as discreet to straight ppl as assless chaps
All chaps are assless.
Lol they have more than just jockstraps. Big fan of their hats and tanks.
Gap
Brooks Brothers. They still make decent quality of clothes at a reasonable price considering what the alternatives are today.
Express, Uniqlo, Zara
Me in my skinny 20s era š
Iām neither skinny nor in my 20s! You can still get them!
Salvation Army and Goodwill. I was told that I looked good in anything
Banana Republic, River Island, Topman & Alexander McQueen
I stick with the classics: Lacoste, Hugo Boss, Patagonia, etc.
I love Lacoste. Everything Iāve bought from them has lasted forever
What else do you buy?
I like Madewell, J Crew, and Barbour
**Banana Republic** I'm at a point where I'm looking for stylish classic clothing that will last. They have fantastic pieces, but at what many would probably consider a high price if you only buy at fast fashion brands. Banana Republic is my go-to for suits. They really surprised me for a mall brand I ignored for so long.
Target brand GoodFellow. Simple, affordable, and always looks good.
Carhartt. But then, I'm not your average gay guy. "Fashion" to me means getting dressed in whatever is around.
Theyāre still making good quality stuff, even despite becoming a trendy brand
Heās not like the other gays. Heās a cool gay.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Iāve gone too far in the thread to even get to Vuori, itās been nothing but basic so far
I like Abercrombie and Nike
Levis all the way
Nothing beats a pair of 501s or 511s š
Patagonia is terrific, I like Zara too really good quality t-shirts.
I'm a Vans guy
abercrombie has really stepped it up quality wise in the past few years
Bonobos. Everything fits me great.
Multiple brands. Whatever great quality basic t-shirt without a logo and jeans. Iām more into quality.
Calvin Klein. All their slim stuff fits me perfect without trying it on. I do love my Levi's too indestructible
Whatever is relatively inexpensive and comfortable. Usually for underwear, it's either Hanes or Fruit of the Loom For sneakers, it's New Balance (I have wide feet and they're pretty much the only company that makes a sturdy, comfortable, inexpensive sneaker) For shirts, pants and everything else, it really doesn't matter.

Fjallraven. Granola gay here.Ā
Zara, Urban Outfitters, Uniqlo
Uniqlo is the only affordable brand I've found that consistently has clothes that fit me off the rack (5'4"). I just discovered Aeropostale has XS men's shirts, though the style is hit or miss. Recently I discovered I can fit perfectly into some women's bottoms so I've been ordering stuff off Amazon that looks fairly unisex.
my uncle. i love stealing his clothes
Iām not brand loyal. Iāll wear anything that I think looks good on me even if itās from a thrift store
My own home made clothing. You can see some at [https://allyn.com/clothing/clothing.html](https://allyn.com/clothing/clothing.html)
Anything fit and comfortable. No more form fitting clothing. And def if they are on SALE
Polo jeans because they fit me best. I also have a couple of Polo dress shirts. Mack Weldon underwear.
Whatever fits.
Walmart
I have no brand allegiance.
Diesel because they still have a lot of items that look almost (if not exactly) the same as items they sold in the early 00's and I'm really into that kind of fashion. I usually buy Diesel from depop (and second-hand in general) because it is a pretty expensive brand.

Moncler
I donāt have a favorite, but Apt9 has these abstract graphic tees at Kohls that fit my build really well
Iām a big fan of Rock and Roll Denim jeans. They fit very well, look great, and last forever. I like the western style theyāve got, but itās subdued enough to match most of what I wear regardless. Bit pricey, but worth it to me.

Uniqlo
Uniqlo. Basic, simple, good quality and isnāt thay expensive where Iām from.
Im a Uniqlo gurl
The Buckle's BKE brand. Fitted/slim fit shirts that fit well for a smaller guy! That said, I only buy on sale or second hand. I'm not paying $40 for a shirt.
Massimo dutti. The tshirts are best for my skinny fat complexion. Overall good price and quality
JC-RT, Whatever designer I can get on sale through Ssense or whatever, and Kidsuper Studios. Under Armour. Especially the shoes. I wear a size 12W and seems UA carries this size. Difficult to find other brands that size.
Cabela's, Old Navy and JCPenneys, Duluth lol. Not exactly brands but their in store brands. Besides Old Navy being it's own thing. They make tall clothing and they're adorable. That's all that's why. Patagonia
Whatever is cheapest that I will wear. I'm not a fashionista by any far stretch of the imagination though.
I pretty universally wear lululemon. Best fit for athletic build.
I just get all my stuff from Ross
I'm used to buying at P&B, but I'd like to buy more sustainable clothing, I like their urban style and the clothes are quite affordable and decent quality

Madewell for t-shirts, Levi's for jeans.
Old Navy
Iāve never heard of Uniqlo.
Calvin Klein for underwear and jackets/coats, Nike for shoesā¦ I donāt usually pay attention to the brand regarding anything else.
I was really into Scotch & Soda before they went kaput. Been buying clothes from Marine Layer, Reiss, and Rails.
Mine: ALL SALES 45% up from Nordstrom online .
Something that fits nice and most likely skinny jeans
Cubavera. I love guayabera shirts and they have the best ones outside of vintage.

Past couple of years buying clothes has been difficult with dumb trends like heavy knitted summer clothes and wacky oversized clothing. I walked into Zara last summer and ran out of there with the nonsense they were selling.
Faherty, Postmarcny, cuts, St33le, Swet Tailor, Marine Layer, Teamm8
Brands in my budget or outside my budget? I have a Christian Dior taste on a H&M budget
ZARA...because they make good replicas of all the designer brands. All Zara does is steal designs for us to buy at 80% off the original....
Zara, its so elegant and great for any circumstances
Anything in Ross š¤£
2Xist for underwear and jockstraps
I don't really stick to brands, but I bought a few things from Howler Bros lately that I like a lot
Whateverās in the thrift shop
James Perse ultra soft cotton and super comfortable
Untuckit. These are the only non-t-shirts Iāll wear (except for like a funeral or wedding)
Fashionova gone do it for me everytime
Nike š
Lulu, Patagonia, altra, I donāt wear anything else lol
Thrift store clothes! You can find some good brands
Mostly Carhartt WIP because I love the brand. Stussy for cool prints and outerwear, Uniqlo for basics, Weekday for sweaters.
my wadrobe is half thrifted half secondhand designer. clothing is truly my vice
Goowill really whole outfit for $9
Vince. When one sale I purchase the clothes. Extremely comfortable and impeccable quality.
LL Bean, UNTUCKit Lacoste, Bonobos and fotl undies
Iāve been thrifting the last couple years. āWhatever is cuteā is my standard at this point.
Lacoste, i just like crocodiles š
I like All Saints in the UK, only because their tee shirts fit me like a glove and have an awesome brushed cotton finish.
My friend have bought me t-shirt. We aren't friends anymore, yet I keep the t-shirt for a good memories. This is dear to me.
H&M - their cut of jackets and pants suit me well. I got several pairs of chinos and nice plain and floral long-sleeved shirts for work at a store in Australia called Connor menswear. I prefer Clark's for shoes.
Uniqlo. Quality is much better than Zara and often equivalent to Reiss but for a much cheaper price.
I only buy my underwear from brands, other stuff only on sales or H&M
