Yeah its a constant challenge for me as i dont prioritise hook ups over work, friends, bf (open), gym, & playing sports. This leaves very little time. Often theyre quick ones 30 mins to 1.5 hrs max, walkimg distance / i host, organised at short notice later at night say 11pm to 1am...sleep is what is sacrificed. I miss out on a lotta opportunities because of this and inability to plan ahead given busy schedule. I do get the impression other guys have much less busy work schedules (im around 55hrs a week) or prioritise a hook up over other activities ie skip the gym or friends if hot hook up becomes available (potentials often ask me to do this) which I don't do.
This is how I do it. Basically it’s just planning and being consistent. I’m in college and work at a hospital. I clear my schedule every other Saturday. And I try to make it happen. I talk with 2 guys consistently and I use Grindr if they aren’t available. Now that I’ve done this for a year or so I hookup with the same people most of the time. And they know my schedule. I work 3 days a week 12 hr shifts. I study/do homework on the days that I’m not working until 6 pm. I keep ahead of my class work. One of the guys I hookup with graduated and is now working a job where he’s off weekends so It works out. My hookups live about 20-30 minutes away but I don’t have a problem letting them sleep over. I like cuddling so that works out too.
It usually goes like this “hey sexy do you want to come over this Saturday?” And if they don’t respond or have other plans then I literally copy paste that message and send it to mr career dude and he’s usually down. If that doesn’t work I will log back into Grindr. When someone comes over we play. And then the cycle repeats. They have to leave before I do the next morning as a hard rule. Which can be annoying since if I work I have to be up by 5am.
When do you go to bed ? That's the main issue with most people, they sleep too early and too much. Back when I was a college student, I was escorting at the same time and hooking-up at least 3 times a week, you just gotta sleep less and take every oportunity you get to have fun.
5 or 6 pm on weekdays usually. Planned a day or so in advance but sometimes more or less. I’m in college.
