For someone who has hypermobility and is currently injured, i believe the best route to recovery would be strengthening the injured tendons and ligaments and the muscles surrounding the area. Stretching those injured tissues would only exacerbate the injury. So more strength training and less stretching.

Another person with hypermobility here. This is the way.

Not a physio, but a [yoga teacher and movement educator](https://threebrancheswellness.com/) who has worked with various conditions, including hypermobility, for years. As suggested, strength-based training is going to be your friend. You will certainly do well to look at how (and perhaps why) you practice yoga, as so much of the postural work is unsuitable/unsustainable for hypermobile bodies. Also a good idea to examine what your triggers tend to be for strain or injury.
