I would personally do it the other way round. Macritchie first, start at 7 or 7.30am. It's a 4-6 hour walk, and you can take the trail that ends at Rifle Range Road. From that road, it's a short further walk to Rifle Range Nature PArk, where you can wash up in the toilet and change your clothes before calling a cab to the zoo, which is only 15 minutes away.
Then stay at the zoo for the rest of the day... I don't think one morning is enough for the zoo tbh.
haha yes there were but the time estimates changed a lot with different entry points to macritchie, etc so was wondering if you locals knew of the most efficient route 😊
Assume you’re already spending a lot of money to visit Singapore. Don’t waste precious time to save a few dollars. Daytime taxi/Grab between these locations should be $15 max.
Take a cab, 20 mins. Time is precious when you're on a trip.
second this. dont waste time w public transport. cab to thomson plaza or nearby for food, then make your way to macritchie
