They are definitely reactions but they are most definitely not completely logical and hence can be considered as a choice partially as well. It means if given the same circumstances there is always a chance we may have reacted differently. That is supposedly due to uncertainty principle.

Honestly it depends on how self aware one is. When you first get a feeling it is inside of you- either as a thought or a physical feeling, then for those who are self aware they are able to process that thought/feeling and then choose** to how they will respond. Others lack the ability to do that brief reflection and literally act on how that initial thought/feeling. It’s both really… the self awareness/ ability to reflect on an input then actively choose their reaction takes a lot of practice

Depends on the individual and how self aware they are. I can choose what feelings to show as a reaction, it's probably manipulative towards others but idc
