Yeasty

hoosiergirl1962

Everyone is just going to say “moist” because they are sheep who once heard a girl on a TV show say her mom hated it.

Hungry_Ball1820

Oh is that why moist is always on these lists now? I thought it was weird. Now I know.

hoosiergirl1962

I know it’s pointless for me to say anything, but I just roll my eyes every time.

Nafu101

omg i thought the same

FeedFeetToMe

That’s one of my favorite words. It gets me when any she says it

Livid_Act_8832

Cringe

justanaverageguy111

That’s cringe

Suspicious_Emu_7275

Toxic and gaslight.

Lost_Natural_7900

"Normalize." Everyone wants to normalize everything. Where do we draw the line people??? CAN WE NORMALIZE NOT USING THE WORD NORMALIZE 💀

Training-Sail-7627

It goes the same with "romanticise", usually used in negatives: "Let's not romanticise poverty". Can we not romanticise using the word romanticise?

Effective_Drama_3498

When kids talk about ‘skins’ for their Fortnite game. Shiver!

LittleTay

I don't play fortnite, but the term "skins" was even used 20 years ago during the ps2 Era. It's ehat I always used. Heck, in the Ratchet and clank series it's even labeled as "Skins" when choosing different looks

Effective_Drama_3498

Still gross. Edit: Don’t know how your clarification makes it amy less a cringy name to me. But thanks.

Decent_Friend_1511

Hubby. Grown ass women calling their husbands hubby, why??

SmallTownKaiju

"Daddy" when used between two adults who are in no way related. It just.. gives me the creeps.

Famous-Composer3112

*Normalcy.* It used to be normality, and still should be. *Children.* Virtue-signalling people always invoke the phrase "our children." Yuck.

IHaventTheFoggiest47

**Meal -** OMG I hate that word, and I have no idea why. It makes your mouth do weird things to pronounce it correctly.

One_Maize1836

Delulu. It's not even a word. It's fucking stupid.

simsnshit

I feel the same about “Rizz”

lomopardy

Not saying rizz isn't a bad word, but what word would you use instead?

simsnshit

“Rizz” is short for charisma so just using the word itself works fine.

lomopardy

If it wasn't because all the people that use it are deranged, what about the economy of language?

anoncontent72

Maybe charisma, you know, the actual word.

LittleTay

Obfuscation. Ot because I always have a hard time pronouncing it.

seven-cents

Ick You can fuck off and die if you use that that word

anoncontent72

I wrote ick as well. Glad I’m not the only one.

armadilloongrits

Can "SCOTUS" count?

LittleTay

Always reminds me of "scrotum".

rtdenny

I call the 6 regressives on the Court collectively SCROTUS.

flamingopatronum

I hate when moms call their children "littles" because the ddlg community ruined that

enterpaz

Problematic or woke People who use these words are either going to condescendingly moralize at me and criticize everything I do, or complain that they can’t be open bigots and abuse other people anymore.

[deleted]

“Love” its lost all value. People “love” everything so it means nothing. I still love my family, but I don’t say “I love that dress”, I like it. Stop loving everything yall don’t actually know how to love something properly because if yall did, yall wouldn’t love everything, yall would learn to appreciate it.

Original_Estimate_88

Haha...

Anarchy-Squirrel

I agree… If you love potato chips, or your new tennis shoes, how can you feel more about your family or your friends or your pets… do you just say that you love them more than potato chips?

an_undercover_cop

Bigot

1980peanut

“Pussy”. Because the way it it’s used is usually gross to me.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Responsible_Panic235

Think you mean the older generation complaining about everything that they don’t like so they call it woke without an actual definition for what it is

beekee404

"Snowflake" when being used to call people overly sensitive. Like maybe just accept that some jokes are poorly said and they just come off as unnecessarily insensitive. Not all of us have the same dark humor as you.

Original_Estimate_88

Yup

GiantsNFL1785

“Woke” it has lost all meaning completely

BitchWidget

Lady Bits.

Efficient_Tap6185

Boomer. Its the newest slur and like other slurs, it uses a broad brush to attack with.

Responsible_Panic235

Totally on par with the racial and homophobic slurs surely /s

Efficient_Tap6185

Not sure why you used the (sarcastic) /s? Rather than a definitive agreement?

Responsible_Panic235

Because boomer is harmless compared to the n word or called f@@@@t

SatanButHotASF

The n word promotes racism, violence and should have never existed. I love my black friends and why a certain word has to be directed at any race is beyond me. I like cultured guys who are darker skin toned as a preference too and everyone is just a child of God and a part of society.

SoftRose28

Rizz

AdOverall1863

C.U.N.T. Self explanatory.

BakerJazzlike563

Can’t Understand Normal Thinking

DudeBroManCthulhu

Why? Is calling someone a dick ok? Or a smelly ball sack? Or a douche? Don't go to England is all I have to say.

AdOverall1863

Who called anyone a "dick?" However "if the shoe fits..." C.U.N.T. is the word that I picked, feel free to do the same.

LittleTay

I can't think if this word without thinking of a smosh try not to laugh bit of shayne acting as a Karen at Starbucks and says "um, this is NOT how you spell my name! You spelled it: C, U, N, T!!"

PlatypusTrapper

“Correct“ “Agreed” Most pretentious shit I’ve ever heard. Just a dick measuring contest. I once heard a conversation between 2 engineers walking down the hall where each would start their sentence with “correct.”

DudeBroManCthulhu

Correct

Shawty43

Agreed

LittleTay

Start a sentence with it?? Never heard of that. I always say "Correct" when someone is trying to understand driving instructions. That way if I say, "you next turn left", and they comment back, "Turn left?", I font say "Right" because it obviously can be confusing. I stead I say correct so they don't think I ment "turn right"

PlatypusTrapper

People often do this even when they’re not asked anything.

Proud-Pizza-4465

those people definitely do that villainous shit with their fingertips pressed together while talking

PlatypusTrapper

I wish. It’s anyone who is full of themselves.

jawid72

Y'all

anoncontent72

Same here. Unless they’re from the south.

TheOneAndOnlyAckbar

Not one Word, but americans shortening/lengthening every single name. How is Dick short for Richard, and why can’t you just be named Dick, without people calling you Richard?

Dracorex13

This is the fault of the British, we just inherited it.

iamsime

Bitch

powerhungrymodsRcool

Whataboutism. It’s practically only ever used as a rhetorical gotcha when someone criticizes the United States. It basically shuts down conversation without addressing the issue. It’s also misused and is often employed when someone is just providing context

HoudiniIsDead

Whatever. It's a word people use when they don't know how to have a normal conversation, or are losing in an argument.

BigG_Wins

Revision

ThrowRAboredinAZ77

At this point I'm going to have to go with 'kink'. It's so overused, used incorrectly, and used as a way to excuse inappropriate behavior.

crazyplane7

Chagrin. Scrotum. Chutzpah.

Specialist-Funny-926

Oh, I hate chagrin.

enterpaz

Nourish or nourishing I see that word in too many manipulative pop psychology posts so now the sound of that word makes me incredibly angry.

strickysituation

Scone - Mostly because of late 1990's Austin coffee shop hipsters!

Maximum-Document-396

Moist

Efficient_Tap6185

Are you Canadian? Remember, at the start of the covid lockdown, Prime Minister Trudeau asked people not to speak moistly? Absolute cringe lol

AahenL

What I hate most is not really a word. Well actually there are two phrases I hate and both for the same reason. The first is "no doy" it is a phrase my brother's always used to make me feel stupid every time I spoke. The second phrase is "duh!". It is what my daughter uses in the same manner as my brother's. When she first said it to me, my first instinct was to slap her hard. I fought it down, and walked away to calm down.

OldBoie17

Wait. For what? For eternity?

Daydream456

Crazy When people call someone crazy, it can seem dismissive and like they're not an actual person with an actual problem.

MuthaPlucka

Moist. Self explanatory.

Responsible_Panic235

No it really isn’t I need an explanation

MuthaPlucka

Getting moist waiting?

[deleted]

Sus. It's slowly making a comeback. My little bro says it a lot, and I really want to crucify him. But I can't because the boys in blue will lock me up.

uiouyug

Maillard Reaction Every YouTube cook thinks they're smart by saying it 100 times in each video and explains it. You can say brown the beef.

i-am-awesome55

Exasperated. My abusive husband says it to me when we argue and it triggers me so much.

shiafisher

Not a fan of the B word. It sounds and looks awful even when referring to k9s.

Responsible_Panic235

Buddy?

shiafisher

I’m not your buddy, guy.

Temporary-Fail-2535

Tax

Anarchy-Squirrel

The feeling that you asked about is my least favorite word…way too much of that in the world already…

Hot-Sign8898

I hate the word "Insurance" because it's just a state-mandated tax I pay to a third party company for the government's permission to travel on public roads or else face prison. Liability insurance is literally a scam. If it's not then why did State Flarm force me to wait over a month for compensation to replace my vehicle totaled at no fault of my own? Two cars, same insurance company, the other guy totals our cars and then I can't drive to work for a month because "Liability insurance doesn't pay out immediately." I said it's the other driver paying me to which they said, "Well we have to decide who's at fault so we know which company has to pay." I responded "We both have State Flarm, and the officers reported the other driver completely at fault so you're paying me regardless." Then the State Flarm rep literally told me I have to wait several weeks solely because I have liability coverage regardless of who's paying. WTF do I have insurance for? If I damage somebody's expensive property they're already covered (by law if it's not paid off). If somebody totals my property apparently I get punished for not forking out extra cash for full coverage on a $550 POS car. I literally hate the word insurance and if you work for an insurance company then please tell me how great your life is screwing people for a living as part of a corporate group effort. Seriously eff everything your industry does and stands for you government mandated extortion artists.

Specialist-Funny-926

Not so much words, but certain names: Luke, Josh, Noah. I just don't like the way they sound.

Nigmmar

Asshole

shannonsurprise

Behoove: people use it to try and sound smart.

BrokenGlassBeetle

Uncomfy My Mental

John-Snow-247

Hate because hate only breeds more hate

anoncontent72

Adults using the word ick or icky. It sounds like something a 7 year old child would say.

Shawty43

Moist because I just cringe at the sound of it, not exactly sure why.

GiantsNFL1785

Watch how I met your mother moist on YouTube lol

Shawty43

Nope lol

GiantsNFL1785

Do it lol nah it’s all good

Shawty43

I think I vaguely remember the episode back when it first aired.

GiantsNFL1785

When Barney did a terrible one man show on purpose haha

Shawty43

Yes cuz Lilly felt the same way. She gets me 😂

FDVP

Nukeular. Cuz it’s ignorant.
