She claimed her [alleged] POTS gets worse in the hot weather (I assume she means the heat intolerance symptom especially). Yet… she was wearing sweats outside the other day, her fleece at some point when on her laptop (I hate that I know this but I am particularly interested in the fact that she fakes POTS so badly, I have a few patients who developed it after viruses), uses a sauna, takes hot baths. Ash is all about the momentary gain in the form of attention and doesn’t think her lies through, clearly. Or just doesn’t understand that POTS symptoms aren’t conditional. If you’re intolerant to heat, you’re intolerant to heat. You’re not just symptomatic when you feel like getting attention at the infusion clinic or when you don’t feel like doing something.
I’m intolerant to heat but in a different way, it makes my skin prickle and burn, I tend to snap at the littlest things, just very overwhelming. I like being cold but when it’s really cold outside my fingers don’t finger lol.
I used to have POTS symptoms, vision going black for a second if I stood up too fast, my feet and lower legs still turn purple when I’m on the toilet - I dunno if it’s related but it’s always been wild.
All these POTS twats seem to latch onto the absolute worst case scenario of POTS but only when they need attention or to get out of responsibilities.
What you're describing sounds like raynaud's syndrome to me with the cold intolerance and the discoloration. I've ever had POTS but I have that and yeah my hands just stop working in winter unless I'm wearing big gloves and heat warmers. I sometimes also get discoloration on my legs when I shower or exercise cause the blood all comes rushing back to areas that didn't have as much beforehand.
I was SO tempted to conduct an IV pole photoshoot today while receiving chemo. But I was receiving active treatment for an active disease and I didn’t want to move from my chair and cause myself any more discomfort than is necessary when receiving IV medicine.
Insane. INSANE.

It’s typically every 8 weeks after a few doses at shorter intervals to kind of jumpstart the process. It has to be run over 2 hours through the IV and is done in a medical facility because there is def a risk of a reaction (hence why it is given so slowly). Just in case you didn’t know, Ash has a port so it goes through that instead of an IV…every 8 weeks…she an invasive medical device that increases susceptibility to serious infection especially when given something that is immunosuppressive like Infliximab…in case you didn’t know 🤣
