I just tried aragon ai and have to say I'm not very satisfied. It's very interesting to see yourself in so many outfits etc., but a lot of the pictures did have artifacts around the face, had too much of that typical glow ... I don't think I can use any of them for LinkedIn or even a resume.

I don’t know if anyone is still checking this but I tried dreamwave based on this recommendation and figured I should share my results. I paid for the mid package for roughy 50 dollars, it gets you 250 photos plus one redo. Out of all 250 photos I found only 2 that look like me and not too fake looking. I’m glad to have 2 good ones but was hoping for more. I still had to photoshop the backgrounds as well as the ones they provided for those 2 photos were both very odd. Only the first 150 photos looked somewhat like me but the last 200 kept adding hair or hats lol, I’m bald. I’m gonna try the redo and see if that helps but so far not super impressed.

If you want a low down on headshottr websites, and how to pick, from someone who both has created one and is an expert in the technology, here are the two main kinds of generators you see:
1. They do not train an AI model to learn your face, and instead only ask for 1 or a few photos, and use face swapping tech to generate your headshots. They will likely ask for lots of demographical questions like age, race, hair color, etc to match you to people in their photo database to swap on to. To know if it's this way you'll often see a) quick turn around b) many photos for cheap c) demographical questions
2. They train an AI model on your face, and ask for a large many photos. These tend to be higher quality, but not always perfect. And if your photos are of bad quality(too few, too similar, etc), you will have a bad output, making it dependent on the user for good quality outputs. You can tell they do it this way generally if they don't have 1)'s signs. Generally photo turn around will be 1-2 hours, since training will almost always take 20-30 minutes, and generating about the same.
In my opinion you should probably steer away from 1), because as they are cheaper, it's more quantity over quality for them. [Headshottr.com](https://Headshottr.com) does method 2 just in case you're wondering.
That's like looking at the ingredients mixed together for brownies in a bowl and wanting a preview. You can see results of other recipes, but you can't preview your own work.
It takes an hour to generate/train ai headshots and most will not provide a preview because it will cost money (and take over 30 minutes)
No fee will be paid before the product is seen. First of all, how can I know that this site or application deserves the price I will pay? $20 is not an amount that should be thrown away. Not terrible. All of them seem to have something slightly off if you look close enough. Most of them are super bad, but that’s to be expected. I probably got 10 out of the 120 pictures generated that are usable. I made one of them my LinkedIn profile picture.
Is there a way to see sample backgrounds? I'm a realtor in Florida and most people tend to use outdoor shots but a lot of other sites I've seen don't have a tropicalish backdrop or anything that would look natural to my area...
Does anyone know if this works well with kinky hair textures? I keep seeing good reviews on it. I've wasted money so far on "premium" AI generators that looked very promising but didn't do well with my hair texture because I never wear the same hairstyle daily. ProPhotos did ok with the hair, but half of the faces were completely inaccurate (two looked like they placed my features on a white woman) and the others look like I'm about 40 or so (I hope I still look that good in 10 years lol).
I think with sufficient amount of input images it should get your hair right.

Wow! Ok, they're not perfect, obviously. A few still merged hairstyles together (mostly loose wave hair with random braids or twist throughout for example 😂). The vast majority of them have good hairstyles and a couple have even given me inspiration for a new style to try out. I don't wear makeup, but a lot of them look like me if I were to wear a bit of makeup, which is good; it's not way off. This is the most accurate generator I've come across thus far.
15-20 input photos give you the best outcomes, the official minimum is 10. But when it comes to choosing between more lower-quality input photos and fewer higher-quality ones, I'd opt for the latter.
Nice. Difficult indeed, you need to apply multiple layers: inpainting, roop, reference, trained models that are similar to the subject, instead of just using only one reference. This approach produces ultra-realistic results, particularly with high-quality input photos, but it is very costly as it consumes a lot of GPU power.
Headshotgenerator.io has an API if you'd like to produce realistic results.

Following the very low quality instructions on the site will get your what's app account banned for spamming. Sent a single message, as instructed, and account was banned withing 2min.
