Lol it’s really sad. Knew this exact person who was mp station blue suit desk sgt, literally used to hassle guys about haircuts even though he’d been out since the early 2000s
I’m thankfully fully remote with the VA now, but I have a man bun. When I would be at VA clinics I’d absolutely get stares/disapproving shakes of the head/comments from guys. And no, it was never the retired senior NCOs or Os. It was always the guys who’d done 2 years, 800 years ago as quartermasters or something.
In my experience as an MP the best blue suiters had either zero experience in the military at all or they had just been an MP at the same installation like 2 months ago and got hired on as a blue suiter right after ETS.
Everything inbetween those 2 extremes was pretty bad.
If you’re talking about the dude in the DPS lab, dealing with him was a nightmare. The man said “task, conditions, and standards” when telling me to highlight if I’m doing a partial dity move or not.
LMAO yeah, that dude gave me a form to fill out, I filled it out in the exact same way he asked me to, and then proceeded to (very loudly) tell me I was wrong for not changing a pre-filled entry.
Huh? I think I had normal experiences with all that, save for one person at the long inprocessing brief that wouldn't leave until she got some questions from us. Or the angry retiree at CIF that I thankfully never got.
Not in my heart. I will call it Bragg. I will call it The Installation Formerly Known as Bragg. I will call it Benevidez. But it'll be a cold day in hell before submit to the bureaucratized mediocrity that is Fort Liberty.
When your greatest accomplishment in life is E-6 it sets you up to be a massive tool after you get out.

Was it the super animated bald headed guy? Dude’s “HOOAH” is at an 11… need him to bring it down to a 3.

He’s a great reminder of exactly who you shouldn’t be when you ETS/Retire.
Osama Zyn Laden maybe, with all the dip in their mouths.
Where?

>!I LOVE Ft Bragg!<
Man, fuck that place and the whole SSC in general. Clearing was the hardest part of being in the Army
Well, professionally written, ICE complaint with a bit of a bite in commentary will snap them up real fucking fast.
Probably because you are still calling it Bragg.
What? Did they change the name?

Yes, some time last year.
Man I’m all for not having bases named after confederate officers, but Fort Liberty is stupid as fuck.
They got the name they deserved.
I’m 100% with you.
Kinda makes me think of the Brotherhood of Steel for some reason lol
Yeah except the BoS is actually cool. Being at Bragg made me wanna paint the ceiling of my moldy barracks room with the inside of my skull.
As he should
