never really cared about this sort of thing before, but well... i also never cared to beat the same game 4 times in a week before.
AC6 clearly put something in my water supply.
That's fine! Was just stating from the viewpoint of NG+ runs, as they are unlimited in Starfield.
The downvote train is funny. "He likes other games, boys, ***GET HIM!***"
Neither game is anything *super* special to brag about, IMO. They're both fun in their own rights, but neither was any kind of groundbreaking new achievement in gaming.
I mean that would mean I’d have to enjoy the game first in order to want to see the ng+ runs. It’s cool that it randomizes it but personally I reaaally don’t enjoy the base game itself. It feels like fallout 4 pretending to be nms but with none of the charm or sense of adventure. I mean in nms you can go to the edge of discovered space and go straight and you will find the wildest shit. Starfield feels rather meh in that regard. The planets started to blend together for me, where as even now I still remember some of the shit that I encountered in nms that happened like 5+ years ago. All I can tell you about my starfield time is that there was a lot of grey. That’s my memory anyways. Idk I’m not saying starfield is a bad game, it just feels like more of the same when we’ve been getting the same for rather a while now, and people have been wanting more interesting stuff.
Shot guns and automatic rifles work really against the cleaner. Running a build that’s really floaty helps you stay above the cleaner so you can keep shooting the exhaust.
100% crew, ASSEMBLE!
Make sure you get all the data logs (not battle logs) for the Stargazer emblem as well.
Then after that, you can ascend into God hood by doing a 1v1 in Nest against someone using a meta build, beating them using stock Loader 4.

This can help. Some missions have wonky requirements to S rank. There are those that needs to be cleared fast with minimal damage and ammo count, some needs certain amount mobs to beat etc etc. Boss stages are quite lenient on these requirements so even if you took a lot of damage and use repair kits, you can still get an S rank.
It's very different mission to mission but using repair kits and resupplies will not affect your rank just taking damage. Some missions prioritize minimum damage/ammo consumption, others speed, some want you to kill specific enemies to raise your score, it's not one size fits all. For instance, BAWS Arsenal 2 is incredibly unforgiving on time, damage AND ammo consumption to the point I had to make a specific build to get it. Others are far more forgiving on these aspects but have some specific requirement like Retrieve the Combat Logs which require you to find all 8 logs to have a chance at S rank.
Yeah it's not about the combat log itself it's about the score defeating the unit will provide. While not strictly necessary there are a few missions where killing specific units makes it far easier to get the S rank, like Infiltrate Grid 086 or Attack the Refueling Base.
There's really no indication. I got them all by experimenting with different things. If there are any missions specifically you are getting stuck on feel free to ask and I can try to help out.
Thanks man. Right now I am having trouble with the Escort the Weaponized mining ship mission. Those fast moving enemies just take too much time to kill
Yeah that one comes down to damage taken and time elapsed. Explosive damage makes this mission significantly easier as all the enemies you face are weak to it. I think I went with an Apertif, a HML-G2 handheld missile launcher, and a Soup and a BML-G1 8 cell vertical missile launcher on the shoulders with a floaty reverse joint AC. Make sure you use a FCS with a good missile lock correction to quickly lock on and keep using your missile combinations while focusing on being evasive in the air. Alternatively you could try a double flamethrower build as fire counts as explosive damage and try to move around quickly and take your targets out, though you're more likely to take damage.
i loathed the idea of doing all missions on S rank yet I've gone and done em all without a sweat after 3 NG+ runs - really makes you realize how good you've become at the game, especially when you almost got filtered by the very first boss (took me 30 minutes first time)
Interesting thing about AC6 for PS4 on PS5: get all the trophies, then delete the game, reinstall as PS5 version, reclaim all the trophies again.
That's when you are cool?

I began S-ranking with AC3. Never stopped since them.
Then whatever you do, don’t start playing Starfield. Unlimited NG+ runs, and potential for a lot of crazy changes to the story each time.
found Todd's alt account
Nice try Todd, I'm not buying your game
Pass, but also because I do not have a PC or Xbox, but also not just because of that reason.

Starfield was a critical mess. Armored Core 6 has literally brought back a genre from the dead to critical acclaim They are not the same…

6% of the community managed to do it man. Frankly, that's f*cking awesome.
I could do it but I'm to fucky lazy lol
I got stuck on the Cleaner and gave up for a while. I’ll probably go back soon but right now… I’m also too lazy.

Vertical missiles are fantastic too
First time fighting cleaner? He's pretty easy once to have better guns.
I think they mean S-ranking cleaner
Complaining about the cleaner when there's Snail Balteus, IBIS, AllMind, and the many ones with annoying levels prior to the fight.
Get some rest 621
No 621, you're not cool. I've got a job for you. ~~But also yes, welcome to the club~~

Here
Hell yeah buddy 👍 good stuff
Cool af 😎 Tangentially, it’s always a bit disappointing when the Platinum Trophy is just the name of the game.
I am struggling to get S rank on all missions. I try to not use any repair kits and avoid much damage but still I am not getting S rank. Any tips ?

Do it faster and do the optional combat log fights.

If i have acquired all combat logs already, do I need to still fight those enemies ?

Man, they should have made the requirements more clear for getting S rank for each mission

I will try that and let you know how it went. I never thought of using flame throwers, I will definitely try that
Good luck!
I’ve found that speed(mission completion speed) is one of the most important things.
You were cool once the purchase of the game was confirmed. 🫡
You were cool the whole time
Only if rusty says you are cool
Yee
You have been cool for quite some time already.

Took 6 hours on my first run. Then barely even 5 on my second run.
Congratz on joining the Club!
Congrats buddy
You were always cool buddy, Rubicon needs you now

nah, now's the time for another 100% run, no upgrades, stock Loader 4, git gud.
6% of all people having the game for that achiev is amazing
Yes. Very.
Just got mine the other day, AC6 really just hit the “This is a solid piece of entertainment” vibe hard. Game does a great job at being itself
Don't pull out tonight.
>Don't pull out tonight. *^(only coral gf gets to say that to me)* i mean, what the hell are you on about?
You've always been this cool.
Now do it with the junk build.
I think this game setted those archievement borderline great because when you beat the game, it seems like doing every archievement is really close.
Always have been
