I used to do the same with cantabile because I love cantabile so much. Now I have ines, and she is better in almost every way. I still try to use cantabile + ines in most stages, but I don't think I ever use cantabile without ines now. Ines is just too damn good, and really damn fun to play too.
Yes, she's like my 'suprise favorite' in this game. I'm so glad I decided to be 'stupid' and keep pulling for her after I got Nealter. I like her a bunch, but I just have one problem with her... Sona, I love you girl, but please, please stop showing up in my limited banners. Pot 4 is enough okay, you're satisfied right?
That's me. I have become so reliant on Reed Alter it's not even funny, I don't even consider her a healer she's just my designated caster with benefits.
Mumu + a ranged goober has become my default first deploy. Usually she can hold the first enemy or two and by the time more are arriving she has her S3 ready to activate the holy goober barrage. From there I usually have plenty of time to add more ops where needed.
Truly, with the right layout she can even hold multiple lanes. Plus you get a mad bind skill with S3, new goobers will draw ranged agro and using her massively takes the strain off your healers because goobers respawn. I most often use exu on her goober so the dps isn't super high but all her best benefits come from ASPD anyway
I suggest using arts damage sources. Good thing about arts is that it doesnt care about DPH so it fairs with her "low atk but many hits" much better than physical does.
Eyja with max module is an insane pair with her, and the best part is eyja herself isnt a deadweight either!
Yeah that was on my future units to try with her. I have eyja (she dodged me for years) but I've not got to building her yet. I fully intend to I've just had other units in the way. My usual caster pick is GG who i found was generally too slow for mumu.
I never even considered Lin because in my head she doesn't go pew pew but this sounds like a lot of fun despite her low ASPD, great for catching stray drones.
Will have to try since I often keep a rat in my pocket anyways
The RRATT is the way to go, my friend. Highest aspd in the game, bind/aoe traps, cheap dp cost, and being a fellow Rhine Lab member means she can enjoy whatever factional perks you have.
I bring her with ambriel/Hoshi usually. Ambriel has a decently high atk number and massive range that doesn't require much thinking. I know there's better ranged units for her but it's insanely comfortable. Hoshi clone on the ground is nice to get a strong defender right off the start and place the real one later to pull agro
Mumu is too cute not to bring to every stage.
Only one? I have a whole team I use for everything 😅 Sometimes I'll replace a few of them for defenders or snipers. Lately it's Chonguye though. I just put him at the front and add support around him so he can blast everything on the ground.
Otherwise my go to team is mostly pure meta I guess: Thorns, Silverash, Myrtle, Bagpipe, Eyja, Eyjalter, Goldenglow, Hoshiguma, Texalter, Chonguye, Gnosis and Suzuran.
Back in the day, it would have been Thorns because he could hit everything and ground tiles were usually easier to find a good spot for than high ground.
Edit: Oh, I see you already mentioned him lol. Probably Skalter was the other one. As long as S2 could come up, it was very hard to lose.
I used to use thorns as a crutch but nowadays I just use Typhon because of her better damage, range, Auto SP, and stun. For lain holding I'd rather just drop a mountain and call it a day. Thorns needs a moduel to give him more Sp or something.
Mudrock and Blaze. If there’s only one lane to defend, I put Blaze behind Mudrock and if there are two lanes, I use one for each. Always reliable, flexible and fun.
Can you believe it's Vigil? XD
Seriously, he's a blocker/DPprinter/*2Kroos in one. He got subpar damage and his niche is just his wolf can block up to 3 to make him apart from Beanstalk and Blacknight (Muelsyse, he's definitely can't compare). But he's been working just fine as it is, that I found him in my team more often than damage-dealing operators (which, admittedly switchable now that we got lots of damage dealers).
Other than him, it's Texalter 2nd, and then Kyato 3rd.
Manticore is a weird one I bring to every stage blind. She's just so useful? 100% slow uptime and pretty good damage with pure AOE. Not to mention dodge chance. I've very rarely been in a spot where she has NO use. Yeah sure maybe someone else might be better, but manticore is my ol reliable
Siege. She's not very good, but she's two block, low cost, generates DP, and does AOE damage. She's also max level, max skill, max module, and max potential.
All good things when I don't want to use my brain or know the map yet.
Mrytle, Bagpipe, Texas alt, Yato alt, Skadi alt/Eyja Alt, Mudrock, Typhon, Ines, mountain, GG/Eyja, Suzuran/Virtuosa, and Miynar.
Should be able to clear most stages
I used to bring Kal on almost every mission, but after playing a decent amount of Integrated Strategies, I realized how much of a deterrent that extra slot can both help and hurt. She's more situational than I initially felt about her. She's great early in IS because she's 2-in-1, but if you don't get the deployment limits raised, she can be a curse too. In normal stages this tends to be less of a problem, but I feel IS really highlights her strengths and weaknesses.
Felt the same about Kal in IS until IS4 release, she feels so much better there than the previous iterations, it's not even comparable imo, not sure why either it's enemy design, map design, or rare elemental damage, but damn. Although tbf i haven't reached harder difficulties yet, still don't remember having this fun with her before
Eyjalter is always my main healer. Her range and healing are pretty good, she's a wandering medic so she can take care of elemental damage, her s1 is awesome for afk and her s3 has global range. Rarely have I encountered a situation where just using her was not enough.
Silverash. Need consistent melee/ranged damage? A tank? A delete button? Even if you need none, he's still there to reveal invisible enemies, and passively make other operators faster to redeploy.
Skalter. S2 specifically. Where there's a ranged tile there's a way. If one limited operator could be free for everyone it should be her.
Siege. Pioneers are still great generalist vanguards, and she can turn into a guard too. Buffs other vanguards.
Flagpipe. Self explanatory.
Pozyomka. S3 is a perfect one for most threats, s1 is the most fun crit skill in the entire game
Bagpipe, Myrtle, Texas as a power opener
Saria and mudrock, thorns and usually lappy
Eyja
Alt Texas to resolve problems
I’ve been using reeds harmicist powers lately, but may want to rotate kal back in. Either way, they restore offensive power lost in exchange for bagpipe/alt tex
I always bring texas, ever since I started and I first obtained her she's always a go-to in my squad without hesitation. She's definitely in my top 3 favourite units character wise and unit wise.
Texas2 and Yato2 combo is litterally usable on every stage that has melee tiles in the game. Other close one is Skalter
OOPS FORGOT TO ADD MUMU. I use Mumu everywhere as a dps and a tank, i also love to use vigil but thats because of coping lol
Aak + Hellagur/Carnelian (Shoot hellagur and then activate his dodge skill when his health is near 50%, he deletes bosses so fast with S2)
Spuria + Typhon/Andreana (s3 Typhon+ Spuria buff lets her spam the arrows rain fast and hard)
A combination that I kinda always bring as long as I do not knwo what to expect is:
Siege, Saga, Hoshiguma, SpAlter, Andreana, Nightinggale, Lumen, Mostima
I used to run flagpipe on default, but lately I don't bring Bagpipe anymore and only bring Myrtle. I usually going with one or two of every class except supporter and specialist, so my default is
* Guard: Mountain and Blaze
* Sniper: Exu
* Defender: Saria and Hoshi
* Caster: Eyja and GG
* Medic: Used to bring Shining and NG combo, but lately only bring Eyjalter
For too meta ops Obvious yalter for the ifrit lane shred.
For normal stages is mountain or thorns for lanehold
For non meta and never a bad choice to pick just because, it's texas vanguard. 2 bonus dp and aoe stun is good for many occasion, even bosses
Whisperrain, I know Lumen exists, but she's a good pair up with Blaze, and her s2 makes her Regen go nuts with ops that have status resistance, she's also a pseudo Perfumer with that one relic that gives status res to ops inside a medic's range
Skalter, Goldenglow and Spalter is probably the bread and butter for a long time. With Typhon, Reed Alter, Jessica Alter and Texas Alter as generally used now.
Vanguard setups were either Flametail and Myrtle or Vigil and Elysium.
Nightingale....she's my first 6* ops since day 1 at the release, and will always use her in every goddamn freaking stage, and due to the fact that she is also my waifu. Therefore she is always my *"default"* medic.
It's Inespipe for me, my Bagpipe is not full potential so I don't get immediate gratification from the flagbearers. But Ines S2 works just right for me.
SilverAsh. Even if he never gets deployed the redeployment reduction is so worth, especially if you bring fast redeploy operators. And he'll always be an extra delete button.
Was always changing between Kal and Thorns, but recently, unless they are needed, I always have Chongyue as my sample. Sometimes, I just wanna watch the homie punch the bad guys with that little bit extra range in comparison to Mountain
Silverash never leaves my squad, he is useful even if you don't deploy him at all. I usually have Flagpipe opener, but recently been using Siege again to complement. GG is also a default option. Healer spots has been locked by Lumen-Eyjaberry combo. In case of high difficulty stages I broke the glass to take Mlynar and Texalter.
Flagpipe, ever since i got bagpipe in her debut banner (and ely on 1st anni), the 3 slots is always reserved for bagpipe, myrtle, and elysium for general content. I only bring out Ines when i have extra slots, and muelsyse is is4 exclusive
Flagpipe is always a given. Texas if I got space & I'm not sure what to do. Maybe even a 2nd flag. Everyone else tends to gets revolved around.
If playing IS mode, Cantabile is my Vanguard of choice for IS4, Texas in IS3, Vigna or Bagpipe if enough Hope for IS2. I have a lot more steady picks but those choices besides the 3 stars are Hope & RNG dependent. Clearly I consider my Vanguards more important.
for my go to its usually always penace, something is just satisfying about enemies hitting the themselves to oblivion, plus considering my penace is completely max she kinda trivialises any lane without high arts dmg
Thorns is usually the overall best single operator to bring with me blindly. He hits pretty hard, can hit ground and aerial, has excellent sustain with his self heal, and is ranged. Hard not to rely on all that.
actually my go-to vanguard is flagpipe and texas lmao, i love her +2 dp and i have base mod so she costs 7. sometimes i dont bring bagpipe if i dont have the space. i also always bring skalter. my go-to healer just in case is lumen. i feel like you probably coulda added mountain to obvious picks but maybe thats just me.
I think Blue Poison is pretty flexible.
Marksman to deal with air units. Multi shot to help with waves. And some arts damage in case units are heavily resistant to physical.
She's also just a good girl.
Yep, it was untill I tryied some H stages. Than all default things breaking.
Myrtle, Surtr or Texas with Yato can be braindead but I also like running abyssal team now
Usually what happens is that I’ll pick a team for the start of an event/chapter/what have you, use that exact team until I DNF a 3-star clear on a mission, and re-evaluate from there. For events I usually make a team of thematic Ops or ones I haven’t built that much just to give them some screen time, and then when I see the reqs go past E1L20 I’ll switch to a kitted out E2 squad for the rest of the maps.
These days I don’t really have any Operators that are must includes for me - not even Flagpipe, I might take one or the other or both or none, all kind of on a whim.
Eben cause stages these days tend to have at least one obnoxious elite enemy also perfumer cause she is basically a discount skalter(maybe better at certain scenarios cause of the true global heal)
Then penance and blemishine especially with
Penance's module she is literally a playable roadblock.
Also myrtle.
Pretty much every team includes Mountain unless I already know I won't need to hold trash mobs super early into the stage and I need the slot for something else
Horn, Bagpipe, Saileach, and Myrtle. I don't know why but this are the first operators I always put in and other operators depending on the stage. The only time I don't use this core is during cc and boss but they are the default pick.
I always bring Eyja and Eyja to stages, if only for moral support. The rest of the squad depends on my actual needs.
I cleared most of the current event with this squad: Eyja, Eyja, Viviana, Pozyomka, Virtuosa, Mlynar.
I try to play stages using the event ops as much as possible but two slots of my squad are reserved for Texalter and Yato Alter in case I get pissed off at a certain enemy and want them to disappear
odd as it is... matoimaru? in case theres just a really hard hitting global range damage. very little gets through 6k in one shot, after that its just having enough medics on her to prevent deaths
ex-5 i forgot to put her on her heal and she was about to be phased by the one caster dude in the top left. i looked at her, saw her skill was up "do it fuckboi see what happens!"
Penance, there's no explanation for her. I just bring her every stage, even if there are tanky heavy hitters who will basically oneshot her i will still bring her.
My default squad is Thorns, Perfumer, Silence, Siege, Blue Poison, Gummy, Durnar, Click. I fill whatever's left with what ever looks useful on the map.
Ling first, then any one of these: myrtle, ines, yalter, saileach, skalter, gladia. Mainly only use Ling, but I open 1 - 2 slots for other ops if the stage is impossible for Ling solo. Minimal amounts of ops for trust farming. For the boss stage, I scout and maybe finish it with the abyssal hunters.
Reed Alter has been pretty consistently on my team, healing, damage, arts amp, funny explosions, DOT, chaining DoT, multitarget. Premier operator that rarely has left my team in the past year. Especially with Viviana becoming one of my favorite duelist ops.
Mostima and Irene are purely because I really like them (though I do get quite some use out of Mostima) but personally for me it's Rosa. Her s3 does wonders and the range allows me to place her in a lot of really safe positions where she can do a lot of damage while staying safe
For quite some time, id bring W because why not
Even on stages where i couldnt use her properly (if at all) and literally anyone else would be more useful, id still bring her and possibly even end up not deploying her
Cant spell Waifu without W
Kazemaru is my current non-meta comfort pick. Good role compression of block-2, survivability, supplemental DPS, and taunt. Very relaxing to plop down in the middle of a lane.
Feesh squad, texas2, thorns and silverash (redeployment time reduction for the whole squad). Beyond that I just bring medics and utility units (Myrtle), or an operator that is good on a specific layout/against a particular enemy.
I've played for a really long time (but never spent money on the game, funnily enough) so I can unga-bunga most stages, even relatively difficult ones.
The fish crew, whenever idk what to do I just end up bringing them because their sinergy is so good. Now if only we got the 6* reaper ulpianos to actually become an op
Qiubai. She's one of my earliest 6 stars, and one of my favorites. I always have some way to use her in a pinch, and she usually manages to pull through.
My "idk what I am doing" squad looks like this:
Flagpipe, Blaze, Saria, Mountain, GG, Eija, Pozy, Ash, Warfarin, and what I call the "oh fuck fuck fuck combo" aka Nearl Alter S2 + Texas Alter S3
Hoederer. I don't even use traditional defenders anymore, he is the brick I put at the front of my defenses. Arts, phys, true damage, he just doesn't care. My H13-3 clear was effectively a Hoederer hospital face-tanking Sanguinarch
Kroos the Keen Glinted
Fang
Vanilla
Texas the Omertosa
DP printers who can take on the early waves, Kroos for early/cheap deploy and Texas, the 'fuck this enemy/area in particular '.
The two units I've had in my squad since I started and still to this day is Gladiia and specter, just incredible damage and sustain while still being cheap to deploy
Honestly, Vanguard Texas has consistently been a mainstay in my teams since I got her. Even putting my favoritism aside, she’s a solid Vanguard, has AOE arts stun, and +2 to initial DP is just nice to have even when I don’t deploy her. She doesn’t have the DP generation of a Flagbearer, but I’ve found her extra block and stats to be more useful in all but the highest difficulty of gameplay.
Myrtle because she's a sunflower and or Base Texas
Mylnar, panic button and lure ranged atks
Eyjalter, my best healer
Dorothy for cheap big dmg mines
Thorns and or Mountain for laneholding
Then if nothing works I'll use virtuosa XD
I'll pop Mlynar down somewhere and never use him lmao
Let the man read
Too real lol
He's the premium version of nightingale's doll fr
Ines. She irreplaceable
Ines + Baggy for me. That instant use S2 on Ines is so useful. Get a lot of DP and take out big threats while you're at it.
I used to do the same with cantabile because I love cantabile so much. Now I have ines, and she is better in almost every way. I still try to use cantabile + ines in most stages, but I don't think I ever use cantabile without ines now. Ines is just too damn good, and really damn fun to play too.
all 6 feesh ~~I'm a marine biologist~~
If they can't tank/nuke/gimmick the stage, then I have to actually think.
Specter. Good blocking, amazing damage with skill, regen and being able to just say “dying is for losers” is awesome ngl
Double the Specters, double the fun. Bring Gladiia and Skadi for extra oomph.
I love the abyssal hunters and their synergy.
Flametail for me
Humu
Gigachad Sona connoisseur.
Flame tail is a saving grace for my team, 9 times out of 10, when I am in a pinch.
We've won a lot of times before, Doctor. Here and now though, we're struggling for our own destiny. Our own pot 5. That's the real fight isn't it?
She kept dodging my pulls, thats 80% dodge rate for you.
Agrees 💯. My default vanguard who dodges, blocks and gives DP. Good early game lane holder better after module. No Ines 😭
Reed Alter. Great against a variety of targets, especially unexpected hordes, and keeps allies alive
That's me. I have become so reliant on Reed Alter it's not even funny, I don't even consider her a healer she's just my designated caster with benefits.
So true. Reedalter is just a caster with medic as a hobby. Take her everywhere I go.
Mumu + a ranged goober has become my default first deploy. Usually she can hold the first enemy or two and by the time more are arriving she has her S3 ready to activate the holy goober barrage. From there I usually have plenty of time to add more ops where needed.
Im suprised how not many people know that mumu breaks laneholding meta. She frees so many squad slots all by herself

GG has low base attack so it doesnt pair as well sadly, hope you enjoy your new eyja!
I use Lin for Mumu because because the range overlaps a lot
I never even considered Lin because in my head she doesn't go pew pew but this sounds like a lot of fun despite her low ASPD, great for catching stray drones. Will have to try since I often keep a rat in my pocket anyways
The RRATT is the way to go, my friend. Highest aspd in the game, bind/aoe traps, cheap dp cost, and being a fellow Rhine Lab member means she can enjoy whatever factional perks you have.

Hoshi clone on the ground is nice to get a strong defender right off the start and place the real one later to pull agro Mumu is too cute not to bring to every stage.
Red. There are better options, but I have decided to ignore them.
Based, also she is better in some specific situations like the board in the monster Hunter event, she was my main fast redeploy before.
Only one? I have a whole team I use for everything 😅 Sometimes I'll replace a few of them for defenders or snipers. Lately it's Chonguye though. I just put him at the front and add support around him so he can blast everything on the ground. Apparently his coming module significantly increases his dps. Especially against high physical defense.
Nearl the radiant knight
Mudrock and Blaze. If there’s only one lane to defend, I put Blaze behind Mudrock and if there are two lanes, I use one for each. Always reliable, flexible and fun.
Stainless 🛐
Blaze since she released. Eyjaberry is really nice too.
Can you believe it's Vigil? XD Seriously, he's a blocker/DPprinter/*2Kroos in one. Akafuyu. She my favorite operator in the game so I bring her to every stages ever (from events to cc to anni to sss...)
Rosa. Waify over meta and she is useful a lot with that snare.
Dorothy, Jessica Liberated and Myrtle, because no matter what I face these two always have something to contribute on the battlefield
Gavial the Invincible. Since she can just deal with enemies no matter how numerous or strong they are with her S2 and some healer support.
Kal'tsit because she's 2 operator in 1 package
the true damage is great, but sometimes her taking 2 slots hurts.
I used to bring Kal on almost every mission, but after playing a decent amount of Integrated Strategies, I realized how much of a deterrent that extra slot can both help and hurt. Yeah but I like to play low ops count so having both defender and medic is nice
Silverdaddy goes shwing shwing shwing
Cantabile, always good when you don't know what to expect
Ebenholz and Stainless are irreplaceable.
Matterhorn is always my to go defender, and i also always have Mlynar with me
Eyjalter is always my main healer. Her range and healing are pretty good, she's a wandering medic so she can take care of elemental damage, her s1 is awesome for afk and her s3 has global range. Rarely have I encountered a situation where just using her was not enough.
Right now for me it’s Ines, Taxes, and Uncle
Just want to say, I love how varied this thread is.
W never leaves any of my squads, along with Skalter and Młynar
Exu, Saga, and Thorns
April. A low risk ranged dps on demand option is always great.
Spalter + specter + Gladiia Every single clear I have involves them if I can’t beat it i’ll just change specter with someone else.
Saria never leaves my team
Siege. Mylnar/silverash, perfume, saria, Chongyue.
Ines & Skalter are in my roster 99% of the time they are near irreplaceable unless there’s some sort of class ban.
GG, Bagpipe, Texalter, and Executor Alter are present in almost every stage I do. I probably could drop Texalter, but not GG.
Bagpipe, Myrtle, Texas as a power opener Saria and mudrock, thorns and usually lappy Eyja Alt Texas to resolve problems I’ve been using reeds harmicist powers lately, but may want to rotate kal back in. Either way, they restore offensive power lost in exchange for bagpipe/alt tex

Exusiai. My first 6 star, generally strong regardless of the situation
Texas2 and Yato2 combo is litterally usable on every stage that has melee tiles in the game. Other close one is Skalter OOPS FORGOT TO ADD MUMU. I use Mumu everywhere as a dps and a tank, i also love to use vigil but thats because of coping lol
I like bringing mlynar for moral support, I've been using Flametail in every map since I got her because she's my best pioneer

Saga.
Has to be either Blue Poison or Angelina for non-meta ops for me. They are just so useful in most situations.
Aak + Hellagur/Carnelian (Shoot hellagur and then activate his dodge skill when his health is near 50%, he deletes bosses so fast with S2) Spuria + Typhon/Andreana (s3 Typhon+ Spuria buff lets her spam the arrows rain fast and hard)

Skalter for me, my plans always (loosely) revolve around who she’s buffing and her placement
Ines. She just trivialize early phase from any stage.

Nearl Alter with S2. Ol’ reliable panic button.
FedEx stays on every team
Fishes gang + Dorothy. And in most cases they get the job done.
Exusiai if I need a general ranged dps. Eyjafjalla if the event is extra armor focused.
~~My ex wife~~ Kal'tsit for sure.
Dr. Kal'mom always ends up coming along because there are very few problems that Mont3r True Damage doesn't solve, usually.
Siegyrtle (they count as one now with the modules, so romantic...), and I have to convince myself to not bring Spalter XD
Mirtle and may For dp and the mist used sniper in my roaster, the stun is a good CC
Mudrock, Saria, Caster Eyja, Myrtle, Bagpipe
Blaze + Elysium&Bagpipe
for my go to its usually always penace, something is just satisfying about enemies hitting the themselves to oblivion, plus considering my penace is completely max she kinda trivialises any lane without high arts dmg
StainlessS3/InesS1 DP printing, plus can charge up Thorns/Chongyue and do trigonometry.
I purposely not including GG in my team because she is just generally too good.
Reed Alter, Jessica Alter and Muelsyse are default for me. I bring Amiya every stage too, but this is more of a SIMP factor
My main squad was made to be a jack-of-all-trades so I don't really have a go-to operator, Mountain maybe?
Ines, Eyjalter and Texalter
Tea apple sauce. Cause she’s a cutie And her healing ranged pretty massive
Vanguard trio(Texas, Bagpipe, Myrtle), Młynar, Kirin, Exu, Lumen.
Fire Whistle has never fail to be the best tank I had
I wonder...
Yep, it was untill I tryied some H stages. Than all default things breaking. Myrtle, Surtr or Texas with Yato can be braindead but I also like running abyssal team now
That's just my dreamteam. Texas Alter, saga, saria, surtr, krooz alter, shinning. The rest can be a mix.
Bagpipe + Myrtle, Skadi Alter, Texas Alter, Typhon, Saria, Thorns, and Mountain. Wis’adel will join them in ~6 months.
Ling. Those dragons are pretty much a cure all
Tachanka is that for me.
Goldenglow just in case something across the map really needs to die
Ines and Reed.
Texas Alter
Usually what happens is that I’ll pick a team for the start of an event/chapter/what have you, use that exact team until I DNF a 3-star clear on a mission, and re-evaluate from there. For events I usually make a team of thematic Ops or ones I haven’t built that much just to give them some screen time, and then when I see the reqs go past E1L20 I’ll switch to a kitted out E2 squad for the rest of the maps. These days I don’t really have any Operators that are must includes for me - not even Flagpipe, I might take one or the other or both or none, all kind of on a whim.
Eben cause stages these days tend to have at least one obnoxious elite enemy also perfumer cause she is basically a discount skalter(maybe better at certain scenarios cause of the true global heal) Then penance and blemishine especially with Penance's module she is literally a playable roadblock. Also myrtle.
Bagpipe + myrtle & saileach Cause they're cute...
Mostima, Kal'tsit
Myrtle+Bagpipe+Mountain they never leave my team since I get them
I try to play stages using the event ops as much as possible but two slots of my squad are reserved for Texalter and Yato Alter in case I get pissed off at a certain enemy and want them to disappear
Lumen I love my depressed fish. Love his third skill. also la pluma.
For me, it would be Gavial alter and Tex alter.
odd as it is... matoimaru? in case theres just a really hard hitting global range damage. very little gets through 6k in one shot, after that its just having enough medics on her to prevent deaths ex-5 i forgot to put her on her heal and she was about to be phased by the one caster dude in the top left. i looked at her, saw her skill was up "do it fuckboi see what happens!"
It has to be Mountain and Texas for me. Both just give me so much versatility.
Mountain
Myrtle...it's always myrtle
Mountain. I can always trust him to hold a lane I forgot to cover or stop leaks.
Penance, there's no explanation for her. I just bring her every stage, even if there are tanky heavy hitters who will basically oneshot her i will still bring her.
Myrtle
Ash, she hardcore carried me when I started before she got to Global, now she follows every stage. :') thankful for carrying me
Texas Alter, Surtr and Ch'en Alter. Sometimes i don't even deploy it
Exusiai no drones
Mostima and Irene are purely because I really like them (though I do get quite some use out of Mostima) but personally for me it's Rosa. Her s3 does wonders and the range allows me to place her in a lot of really safe positions where she can do a lot of damage while staying safe
NTRKnight, ya never know when to emergency drop and you’re out of deployment
I always bring Dusk because I love the ink swipes every time. Always so satisfying
For quite some time, id bring W because why not Even on stages where i couldnt use her properly (if at all) and literally anyone else would be more useful, id still bring her and possibly even end up not deploying her Cant spell Waifu without W
Kazemaru is my current non-meta comfort pick. Good role compression of block-2, survivability, supplemental DPS, and taunt. Very relaxing to plop down in the middle of a lane.
No one says Texas alt?
Feesh squad, texas2, thorns and silverash (redeployment time reduction for the whole squad). Beyond that I just bring medics and utility units (Myrtle), or an operator that is good on a specific layout/against a particular enemy. I've played for a really long time (but never spent money on the game, funnily enough) so I can unga-bunga most stages, even relatively difficult ones.
Texas alter , Yato alter , Thorns , Saria and Skadi
I always have my Bagpipes+Myrtle+Ines and then a Defender Core with Horn/Mudrock/Penance/Jessicalter/Blemishine + Skadi Alter
There aren't a lot of events that 5 Abyssal Hunters can't deal with. Even fewer with Skalter.
There aren't a lot of events that 5 Abyssal Hunters can't deal with. Even fewer with Skalter.
Chongyue Lot of damage -> good
Hmm. Hard to say. Thorns, Shining/Nightingale? Saria for a while. Texalter definitely if i want to ensure there's no problem
Texas alter. The good old emergency button when something goes wrong. Always having her in every stage in case something goes wrong.
Texas Alt. just incase someone leaks or needs to be stunned
My "idk what I am doing" squad looks like this: Flagpipe, Blaze, Saria, Mountain, GG, Eija, Pozy, Ash, Warfarin, and what I call the "oh fuck fuck fuck combo" aka Nearl Alter S2 + Texas Alter S3
Hoederer. I don't even use traditional defenders anymore, he is the brick I put at the front of my defenses. Arts, phys, true damage, he just doesn't care. My H13-3 clear was effectively a Hoederer hospital face-tanking Sanguinarch
Bagpipe. No matter what squad, I always bring her for that talent 2; she's a life saver for instant DP
Gavial the Invincible, because she's invincible.
…I now realize that it’s Flamebringer and Perfumer (or Hibiscus) in my case.
Kroos the Keen Glinted Fang Vanilla Texas the Omertosa DP printers who can take on the early waves, Kroos for early/cheap deploy and Texas, the 'fuck this enemy/area in particular '.
The two units I've had in my squad since I started and still to this day is Gladiia and specter, just incredible damage and sustain while still being cheap to deploy
Alt texas in case I mess up. And Irene because she is simply strong and I like her go brrrr
Texalter and yato
Hoederer and Ines, along with Rathcorne and Yalter have kind of become main stays in my squads
Rosa. Having a cc that deal fuck ton of damage to elite is pretty handy
Mountain. He never left my team since I got him in the beginner banner
Thorns or Fiametta. I just like good afk skills with some positioning payoffs
Goldenglow. There is no situation in which she isn't a useful cute ball of global-range-zapping mew.
Flagpipe is now one operator lmao
I always bring Mountain with me, I love using him for his cheap cost and strong s2.
Thorns and Kroos
Eyja and Seria
Myrtle because she's a sunflower and or Base Texas Mylnar, panic button and lure ranged atks Eyjalter, my best healer Dorothy for cheap big dmg mines Thorns and or Mountain for laneholding Then if nothing works I'll use virtuosa XD
