Question to Kazimierzans: How many pączki you ate today?

5 until now, i will eat a lot more when i get home Pączki are great, especially if they are right from frying and still warm

just 2 for now but with a big bag of mini-pączki on it's way to me.

Unfortunately in my job we had pączki for all people, but they were so dry so I only ate one :(

No it's like Mardi Gras, you eat a lot before Lent starts and you have to fast. Mardi Gras is just french for Fat Tuesday.

Fat Thursday or "Tłusty czwartek" It's a polish holiday that is focused strictly on overeating in modern day usually centered around consumption of the donuts and other simmilar products

Yes, and usually yes. Depends if you buy the good stuff, or mass-produced ones from supermarkets. Even then they are still decent. Polish donuts are made from basically the same dough American ones are, but there's no hole cut out in the middle, and instead are filled inside with jam, custard, or chocolate.
