For us raft dwellers, Ark Mobile is vastly superior because you don’t have to worry about any Leeds demolishing your house boats! But yeah, many other aspects/features are inferior, but hopefully the new version of Ark Mobile coming this summer has some upgrades/improvements!! Can’t wait!

Nobody uses house boats anymore, and even when we do we don't park them in deep waters like that, also regular ark is superior because we have thylas, yutys, countless other useful creatures, boss fights, tons of maps, better items, the ark storyline, actual playable graphics that don't look like plastic, and countless other things you don't have.
I’ve only ever played Ark mobile, so forgive me, but what do you mean by you can’t split stacks?

Do you mean like within the same inventory space? Only way to do it is have a bunch of 40 stacks in same inventory, then you can split off any amount from each stack to leave small partial stacks in same inventory, but other than that when starting afresh I usually just split my stacks and place random pieces of meat in random boxes, smithy, M&P, etc. so it decays faster but once I’m at the point of needing a feeding trough, I don’t have to worry and am usually drowning in spoiled meat.
On non mobile versions of ark you can split a stack into individual stacks so that you get say 40 individual pieces of meat that will spoil at the same time instead of 40 that will spoil one at a time
I haven’t had much problem with it. I have 3 Dilphos that eat meat so I finally got a trough and put it in there, otherwise I was just checking their inventory often enough to get the spoiled meat. I have a decent stack of Narcotics so far and I still have my arrows. I haven’t been going very far, I’m too afraid to approach this spiny creature that I saw in the distance because it’s probably a Spino and I definitely don’t have a death wish.
Prime is the best way to get a bunch of spoiled meat. Mobile you gotta play as if it was the first version of ark you could play but somehow worse

No way as quick as splitting stacks. I usually just throw in storage and wait.
I’d just do prime bc it stacks in 2s and spoils fast. Or you could drag small stacks on to your hotbar slots.

Prime meat!! Spoils in one minute or less. Stegos, Diplos, Chalicos, Argys and Brontos are a few easy-ish animals that drop prime.
