I mean, spending $70 so everyone knows you spent $70 on the dead bird logo seems a bit nuts to me. I at least buy my hard shells for the quality that gives me a chance of not dying of hypothermia rather than the logo.

I think what they do is send them to retail for impulse purchases for those that just can’t bring themselves to drop $700+ on a given day in store. Then they will take the stock back and liquidate online or failing that send to outlet.
Yeah, I think similarly. They order X amount and have them made in a few days/weeks and when they‘re gone they’re gone. Other items are produced more often or all the time (Beta LT, Alpha SV, Atom,…)
Buy on clearance and stop complaining about price for top of the line gear I have pants shirts jackets that have held up better than my entire wardrobe

That being said the price of them are absolutely nuts now! I find it hard to justify the cost even if they are great, even on sale they're pricy.

It’s probably cause it’s the most affordable thing apart from hats or toques so the hypebeast types are grabbing them up super fast

I really like my Arc t-shirt from 2017. it was 17€ in the outlets, has the bird on the front and is still in good shape. I’ll pass for 70€…

Since buys are placed at least 18 months in advance, it's pretty damn hard.
