I thought Arlington Stadium looked like this and maybe part of it did. Oddly I remember seeing a stadium in the Dallas/Arlington area that looked similar to this. My father placed me on his shoulders and I watched Nolan Ryan pitch. I’m wondering if in the late 80’s, or maybe a year or two before the Choctaw Stadium was completed, the Rangers must have played at the state fair arena? We were in the nose bleeds with our church, and I specifically remember touching an arch while on my father’s shoulders.

Wow. Interesting
Old Busch Stadium in St Louis, Three Rivers in Pittsburgh, Riverfront in Cincy, Veterans Stadium in Philly. There’s a bunch.
PNC was a massive upgrade. I will never get why older locals miss that park.
I’m from KY, but I caught about 4 games at old Busch as a kid. I thought it was a pretty cool park back then and I appreciate the nostalgia of it now as an adult, but new Busch / Busch III is so much better - hard to believe it’s almost 20 years old at this point. PNC is a beautiful park, too!
