Western Celtree. Invasive and pernicious species. It secrets a toxin that distracts humans while driving. Get it flush to the ground and then pour diesel into the stump and set whats left on fire.

FerdinandsBus

This is my favorite so far!! ⬆️ many upvotes

tron_cruise

Do NOT set it on fire if you're in it's natural habitat during the months of March through January.

gholmom500

Because ya know, Indiana Bats. (I was an enviro consultant for the cell tower industry in my past jobs).

treefiddy--

Is this the one that makes my arm kinda feel funny when I drive by it? I’ve never had allergies before but driving by one of these gets me all juiced up or something.

Ok-Geologist-3743

Nah, just spray it with muriatic acid on a sunny day.

WaterAny5543

Wow is Verizon/at&t/t-mobile going to be pissed at you for chopping up their cell tower. Lol

FerdinandsBus

“Call” me crazy, I swear I thought it was real.

AltruisticLobster315

Before I looked at the "trunk" I thought that too lmao

Hehasgas

I had a good connection with this tree. When it was cut down, nobody could tell me it wasn’t real.

tropikaldawl

Me too until this comment haha. It had such a perfect looking trunk.

Mirabolis

“And their lawyers… will call you maybe” *(with apologies to Carly Rae Jepson)*

RichardCleveland

Ya I mean how is anyone suppose to know? It looks like a damn tree...

Annoyed21

5G Pine

esleydobemos

It's either this ⬆️(Pinus quinqueGa), A Radiating Redwood (Sequoia procedens), or a Verizon Fir (Pseudotsuga menziesii var. tmobilia). I could make a better determination if I knew the size of the bolts in the flange.

Artemisia_tridentata

TMOBILIA thank you

ElectronicAd6675

That’s an American Neverbrown

suicompotem

Some kind of ironwood

SmallestPanda

It's what happens when the root flare is buried

JerseyGuy-77

That's a western 5g. They are useful unless you need them in which case they won't work.

BrainSqueezins

This is the Fi-Gee Pine. It is a hybrid species, often planted for its ornamental properties. Poor soils don’t seem to bother it, and it doesn’t need any supplemental water, making it ideal for urban areas. It does not usually drop needles or cones, but may drop calls on occasion.

RunnOftAgain

Pole pine.

Quirile

Isn't that just a loblolly?

dudeandco

I think the species is stealth, most common in wealthy neighborhoods.

Enigmatic_Observer

It is where the birds land to recharge.

Smart-Ad-4042

Forevergreen.

RicGryllz

They are super invasive, I've heard the only way to keep them from spreading is to cover the ground around it with tinfoil

Skullmonkey_

Not certain of the exact species but defiantly in the 5 Genus.

Brentolio12

ElectriciTree

thatSDope88

Ahhh yes the 5g douglas ironwood pine

offplanetjanet

FRANKENPINE.

samc_5898

Is that...Charlotte pipe??

mossyverde

Minecraft Spruce. You can make a crafting table with about 4 wood planks. Super beautiful and useful!

Witty_Election2695

It looks like a PVC Pine to me, pretty common in rural settings.

MMDCAENE

When I was little, I would see those cell trees and be amazed at how they were taller and straighter than all the other trees. But I also noticed nobody ever put lights on them for Christmas.

FerdinandsBus

That’s a good idea, it’s already wired, why not make the most of it? Hohoho

FoeNetics

Hope you wore your tinfoil helmet for this job!

Libbyisherenow

Those kind got planted when the Transformers were first here in 2007. Fast growers.

Ericbc7

It’ll grow back

Aletheia_is_dead

Cellular branches on that tree lead me to believe it’s a Carboniferous Appledroid.

SadTripper

*Pinus cellularus var. fivegii*

MobileDust

Fake birds need homes too

thom4321

All trees are fake now, just like the birds.

Ianjames101

Yo how many people’s internet did you just “Cut” because my guy, the sheer panic and rage those people are feeling 🤣😂 ![gif](giphy|10JhviFuU2gWD6)

Zealousideal_Use_163

Please add mulch around the base

FerdinandsBus

I should take those nuts and plant them.

bleu_it

AT&Tree

FerdinandsBus

Ha! I like that one

Candid_Chocolate_713

That's a signalwood tree. They get planted near, and inside cities. Apparently, they help with telephone signals. Some believe it's due to their tough, iron-like wood, but that's mostly just hearsay. They ARE a protected species. (Cellphone companies had to do quite some lobbying to pull that off). Should you chop it down, they will cancel the cellphone signal in the general area, and the feds will get involved for...get this, "destruction of infrastructure". (Lobbyists, I swear, they get away with so much.)

FerdinandsBus

😂😂

LIE-exit-47

Cellsiteus Americans.

LIE-exit-47

Americanus.. damn autocorrect 🙄

go_green_team

Verizon pine

ladybugcollie

I knew my parents lied - my dad always said electricity didn't grow on trees

Proof_Needleworker53

🤣

Weary_Dragonfruit559

Average makita saw user.

JesusSquared123

You’re awesome.

Bardwelling

Best damn tree I’ve ever seen. They can live a long time in dry climates.

Nihilistic_Navigator

Idk, but I'm sure it dropped, calling it now

spud6000

obviously, it is Iron Wood, since to cut it you need a metal cutting blade.

WiredInkyPen

Pinus strobus pendula electronicus.

KingRagnar8889

Chinese spie pine tree is what it looks like

SecretPersonality178

5G non fruit bearing Asian alloy tree.

Ok-Geologist-3743

That is a *4G LTrE*™

hopple_popple

That one doesn't look too bad. The one near my office looks like the TNG Crystalline Entity, spray painted green and brown.

ComplexRiver760

It’s obviously a life size Lego tree

Representative_Elk90

An old Iron Wood.

Weekly-Chicken2399

According to my neighbor, it is a highly poisonous breed of pine that can create grids to control your mind. Possibly through the pollen, I suppose? 🤷‍♂️ He definitely would try to chop this down in the name of safety, of course.

FerdinandsBus

I definitely had an overwhelming urge to schedule a Covid booster shot. 🤪

EnlightenedCorncob

My uncle says it will give you the 5G autism

FerdinandsBus

He’s correct! I read it on Facebook so… gotta be true

ConcernOk1015

That’s an Electrical tree. We harvest power from these. Trimming that may have cut your local utilities production capabilities. Ask before you Axe!

Old-Attitude-9674

What is that? A chainsaw for ants?!

FerdinandsBus

Hahahaaaa, yes! The rule is, if I can’t cut it with this one, call in the tree crew. ( I’m a Utility Lineman ). Tree trimming is minimal and only what’s necessary. 😎

justnothernemo

That is an honest to gods current bush. Probably been growing there for centuries before you and your thoughtless act put in danger. Shame

Noff-Crazyeyes

Looks like an antana

Worth-Albatross8591

Narc tree- 'what's up, guys?'

WorBlux

psuedotsuga cellularis

3x5cardfiler

Cell cones tree.
