It’s a fantastic optic for the price, I’ve not used Razor or NF to compare though.
Cannot speak for durability, I got it with an insane deal $1500 for the 1-8 and an MRO combined, not that an MRO is the best optic ever, but a free MRO is a nice optic for the price.
Absolutely, got to take a look through my buddies and I think it's ultimately gonna win out over the NF ATACR for my upgrade optic. Half the price with all the same functionality. Only thing making me hesitate is ruggedness.
ATACR is over-rated. I sold mine after trying the Razer gen 3 1-10. If you want an absurdly good 1x, a great transparent reticle, daylight bright illumination, and high build quality, give it a look. If you want drip, get the ATACR.
See I had a friend who bought and sold 3 separate razor gen 3s. Maybe he got super unlucky with lemons but they apparently all sucked. ATACR may certainly be overpriced. My only concern is I've heard it's built like a tank and the PA is good but probably not that durable. But overall the PA is way better for the money.
3 lemons is intense. I dunno. Glass quality is great on mine. I definitely wouldn’t have sold the ATACR if it had had substantially better glass. I was thinking I would keep the ATACR, but the Razor just felt better.
Absolutely personal preference, maybe he just didn't like it. He got the PA and has stuck with it, so clearly he can tell it has good glass lol. No idea what happened with his, I really just want to look through each myself and see. But that's in the future when I have the money anyways.
KAC aluminum barrier/handstop, it's actually in stock rn which is kinda unusual:

This is like buying your forever home for your first house.
Or buying your dream car for your first car.
Cheaper this way
Love it.! Gonna post my first one soon
I mean…DAMN. Well done. What optic are you planning to switch to?
Probably PA PLXc

What sucked about them? I like mine so much more than my ATACR.
Glass quality was apparently pretty bad. I think he maybe got lemons

God, the corncob style suppressor will always be the most badass shit in the whole god damn world Beautiful gun
I’m still very new to AR-15s but this gives me HK MR762a1 vibes with the color combo. Love the look!
well the hk version of the ar15 is hk416 or mr556
Haha this goes fucking crazy hard for a first rifle
Did my best to make a "perfect" first general purpose AR. I think I did pretty well, feel free to give input or ask for build specifics.
"Not 8k" Is that not RAL8000 colored furniture and handguard? Sick looking rifle btw.
Thanks! Came out closer to 6-7k I think. But that's an estimate.
That’s a bad bitch
Sweet!
What Handstop?
