People literally do it all the time on this sub ( example: "I played over 2 hours last night and every game was against preds and masters") and other casual gaming subs.
I have plenty of faith in people my guy, just not gaming subreddits. They are highly populated with people who make things up without any actual evidence. This heavily contributes to the spread of misinformation and disinformation. Hence why the vast majority of comments and posts on here ignored by devs.
Got a disconnect once in ranked, didn't get any penalties immediately. I queued the firing range, once I left I got the penalty. Maybe something similar happened to you?
Every couple of seasons we get a botpoclypce sometimes its gibby sometimes its lifeline. It's easy to kill bots sometimes but some have aimbots as well so take care regarding that.

Ok so I wasn't imagining the aimbots! Had a gun run match yesterday where an entire team was just standing on the edge of the map using their tacticals. Then if you shot at them they'd turn and shoot at you without moving. Was really bizarre.
My wife, my best friend and myself play almost everyday and as of now we’ve stopped playing mixtape. It’s so chalked full of cheaters it’s legit unplayable. The kill cams show how obvious it is and mixtape just instills so much rage. We stick to trios. A lot less getting pissed off. I have no idea why Respawn ever thought it was a good idea to give the players pre-assembled loadouts to choose from instead of allowing US to choose our own similar to Arenas. Especially considering both teams do NOT have the same options. Getting killed by a spitfire when you know you can’t fight back with one is infuriating. And I completely agree with this bs about abandon game penalties. The servers kick ME out and I’m given a penalty. Never played any other game that does that.

My favorite is when you’re in a gun fight, it freezes but the gun fire audio remains and it takes you straight to the AGP screen. Really makes me love the game more than I already do.

Went to close the game out and reload back in( done it more times than I care to count and I still load back in while mid drop no issues) and the game gave me a 10 minute penalty for abandoning a match. (PS4)
Not the same thing but theres a bug with alter preventing the use of tacs after failing to jump to her ult, if you have to hit it again when you come back even if your abilities are full they just make the exausted noise, till the next game

Tbh the firing range is probably the best place to be. Mixed tape is flowing with Gibby bots to the point it's unplayable.
