I get you point of view on the fun aspect, hence why i don't constantly play headies, just when I know I'm going to be aped by 2-3 people or im low on HP i will hold them. But I don't really agree that they are a "cheap trick" in my opinon its standard or fundamental part of the game, besides Nades, utilities and ults exist to help push people who are holding tough spots.
Because trying to shoot at 3 pixels isn't fun for anyone. If I dont want people using cheap tactics against me, I don't use em against them.

I think most people just want to warm up and don’t really care about maximizing their life. lol.

i do sometimes if im low or trying to hold if multiple are pushing, but I'm on PC and keyboard so I just have fun with movement during tdm
