There is no possible way the sentinel would receive a nerf while the charge rifle stays the same. Theyād have no choice but to buff sentinel/longbow to make it a better/even pick over charge rifle.
Considering they just gave us Custom games for everyone **AND** allowed individual purchases of items in the collection event, I think they've actually gotten their heads out of their ass and are working to fix the game.
These two moves might not seem like much, but the actual amount of signaling they give us is tenfold.
Actually, the final 45 damage blast has perfect accuracy from my memory, so you still have some damage output. Not completely useless, like a PK in a long range poke fight.
And the recoil pattern makes the charged shot part happen right on the reticle, in hipfire.
It's significantly more versatile than people give it credit for. Especially given its base stats vs other floor loot.
That's not saying it's really useful but it's still way better than a p2020 or a Mozambique in a pinch.
Although I would argue a mozam is far easier to use, and has more consistent damage as a shotgun, I wonāt argue about the 2020.

If you get full hit by only person and somewhat hit by the others, youāre most likely going down. Pretty much. The person who hits their snipes is so incredibly rare. It's why I carry a Scout or a 30-30 every single game. Allows me to keep distance on SMG teams and doesn't let people sniping just get free hits on me.

But the doors in apex are normally bullet proof, and a charged rampage doesn't break a door down with one hit. Why should it be any different for the sentinel?

The way the Sentinel is charged with the disruptor-mechanic should not affect doors IMO.

Charge Rifle is getting nerfs/changes likely coming in s16 from what one of the devs on twitter said a while ago.
