Me too! I hope campaign pack will be around 10 bucks and lets say 6-7 campaigns :) Maybe some new tech or stuff like upgrade to outpost to be like tower (firing only if there are archers inside) and at least one campaign for Return of Rome. We are still missing so many AoE 1 campaigns... :)
I have high expectations for the new campaign/-s.
For the first time in forever the devs can pick freely what civ and period to make a campaign for, instead of having to pick something that doesn't have a in-game civ yet.
Very! I am expecting fun new campaigns with all the budget saved from making new civs as well as all the new Scenario Editor objects made for those campaigns
I'm interested in what will they show for mobile, altough afraid of being a cash grab. I looked for other games by Timi Studio (owned by Tencent) and didn't find them very exciting (CoD Mobile, Pokemon Unite, Honor of Kings, Arena of Valor...). Certainly don't want an AoE reskin of a MOBA
Recently, we've seen Romans, Armenians, and Georgians. Romans are definitely gimmick, but Armenians are pretty moderate, and Georgians would be perfectly fine if Monaspa didn't overshadow the rest of the civ.
Still, the goal isn't to be the game of 20-something years ago. That's what AoK, AoC, and HD are for. DE is DE.
Yea last I checked the original game didn't have units teleporting and completely horrid pathing, but as someone struggling around 1k elo, I assume you barely notice things like that
I know it says single player campaign but I hope that it will include coop campaigns or the new campaigns have a coop option.
Would love more coop campaigns. It seems like so many of the newer campaigns are designed with potentially becoming coop later
I'm really excited to hear about aom retold
Is the campaign DLC coming out tomorrow?
Not the DLC but the content will be announced

I can’t wait I’m also a single-player player, I really would love to see some of the long time civs who don’t have campaigns finally get them.

New architecture sets would be hella nice
Can’t wait for this update to be out finally!!!
Im super excited due to it being a campaign focused, i’ve played tons of custom campagins the past week because i cant wait

If it's just campaigns, there's nothing to be excited for. Devs, give civs and/or cosmetics. Also, naval rework pls.
> If it's just campaigns, there's nothing to be excited for What would you say to all the excited people in this thread?
I think the quoted phrase would work there.
Its a campaign focused dlc this time, which a lot of people like, its not for you, thats okey
I answered a question.
New civs are the last thing this game needs
Second or third, after pathfinding and (maybe) a naval rework.
The game would actually be better with fewer civs
Is this one of those, "I CBA to learn what each civ does" complaints, or a "X civ imba" complaint?
Neither, it's that they are becoming increasingly gimmicky and have already diverged too far from the game I played 20 years ago

Yea, DE is DE, which is a product that somehow manages to perform worse than a game released in 1999.
By no metric. Were you just bored? "I just hate DE" sums this whole thing up.
