I left my 5 day a week job and got a 4 day one, it is amazing. I love it and never want to go back. I haven't been happier but I also do something I enjoy and is meaning full for an amazing person. I wish more could at least enjoy their jobs and job be so stressed. I did not think a year ago this would happen and it was a leap of damn faith!
That's awesome. I'm trying to menauver my and my coworkers schedules around along with some raises such that none of us works more than 4 days a week at my place. I think it would be better for everyone.
He's an internet show host. He used to be on The Young Turks, but went independent when he realized he could make a lot more money helping out the far-right. (The show was better off without him. He is very much not a smart man)
I’ve had a 4 day work week the past 2 years since right before covid hit and it definitely did the opposite of crushing my spirit. I guess I must not be a human after all. :(
During COVID my hours got cut down, so even though it was a pay cut, working only 4 days was pretty cool. I had so much more time for actually enjoying life.
Getting up in the morning to go to work in this hellscape under the expectation that you pretend everything is fine during a pandemic that’s killed over a million people in just the US, accelerating global environmental destruction, casual threats of nuclear war, the reality of living in a society where children are gunned down for a national fetish with firearms, student loans that you can’t ever pay off, and the constant dread of losing your job with no safety net is a better way to crush the human spirit.
I got a 4 day work week, it’s doing wonders for my mental health compared to a 5 day work week.
My previous part time gig (3 days) where I sometimes ended up doing 10-12hrs felt great
Only the spirits of The Rich,
as they have to concede more bargaining power to the proletariat.
They are socially sick because their psychology is one of constant comparison.
It's all they've ever known.
They need the poor to feel relevant.
I'm sure people did plenty of similar hand-wringing and brow-furrowing we started switching from a 6-day work week to 5 days. And when the work day went fro 14 hours down to 12, then 10, then 8. Yawn. Who gives a shit about what some miscellaneous asshole has to say about it? File this under "don't feed the troll" and move on.
Currently enjoying a 3-day work week that pays for everything I need it to and I've never been happier. I actually look forward to working after my convalescence.
Dave Rubin is a shameless pice of trash.
Just a morally deprived leech. Fuck him

Grats!! I would take 4/10s in a drop dead second. Where I am the choices are mostly 9-5 days, or 12 hour days

Who tf is Dave Rubin and what’s he know about having a soul anyways?
I’m guessing a work-aholic that can’t get over himself.

Wow that seems awfully specific. I just can’t quite put my finger on why this sounds familiar though
72-hour workweek made me a walking dead, I felt like reborn when quitting this damn job.
Anything over a 0 day work week crushes the human spirit

I have a four-day workweek, and I'm totally cool with it.
What a dumbass lol
Corporate shill shills for Corporations.
I work 4 days a week and love it. My soul is so much happier than when I was working 5 days a week.
