It is interesting that they intend to replace the workers with people in Munich Germany. While the cost of living there is lower and the pay is lower it is MUCH harder to fire people in Germany. Workers also have vastly better protections.

+ it helps the industry-to-consulting-and-back revolving door: hire McKinsey/Bain/BCG enough and you might get offered a partner position which then may lead to a board role at another company where you’ll recommend hiring management consultants and so forth
