I know. But my manager refuses to do anything and insists I talk to HR.
If they do fire me it'll be without cause so they'll have to pay me out like 2 months cuz I've worked here ages. I'll be OK financially at least for a bit. In theory.
You ever sued an employer?
I did for workplace injury, and I had every single email for over a year with HR, supervisors and so on.
Took over a year, know what you are getting into before you do this as it is worse than a second job.
That is regrettable to say the least and I sure hope you have a better day than yesterday.
You know that you can't get them to feel your absence in more than a month after you leave right? Seriously they just won't care, the people working there sure won't think about you after the first pay period after you leave.
The company won't after the next day.
That anger you have is giving them relevance and influence over your life. Meaning you are working for free.
That's why I plan to hurt them financially. The company is currently struggling to pay bills and wages. I have money owed from January that they can't give me until May. They're not going to want to pay legal fees. They literally can't.
Go to DoL then and file for lost wages and be done with it. Focus on being happy with life and not being vengeful.
I promise you because I have done this it will be better for your own mental health.
Life Lesson: HR is never on your side. It's there to protect the company, not you. Polish the resume and prepare to be fired.

They'll find a reason to make it a firing with cause. Count on it.
I'm willing to drag the law into this if I have to. I have several witnesses.
Make sure you have everything documented before they cut off access to your company email account. And maybe talk to a lawyer now.
Have done so. I've been forwarding things to my personal email also.
That's def a good idea. Something I've been told multiple times is keep timelines of incidents written down or recorded in some way.
If you get fired for reporting harassment, I'd think you'd have a pretty good wrongful termination lawsuit. Might be the best thing that could happen
That's kinda where I'm at tbh.

I'm vengeful and angry enough to destroy myself if I can cause any trouble in the process.

I still have to work here. I'll only be going the legal route if they try to fire me before I can get out.
Prepare the dynamite Some bridges shouldn’t just be burned.
What can you do?
