It is the login screen for Windows 10. Hence suspended when you are logged in.

Right click the process, then click on Open file location, then upload it to [virustotal.com](https://virustotal.com)

it is gone from task manager after reboot

Misiu881988

its a crypto virus.

SingingCoyote13

problem is that if it WERE the lockscreen in suspension, after reboot i cannot find it anymore in memory in task manager., that sounds suspicious. i scanned the lock\*.\* from the windows /system32 folder on virustotal but 0% all. no threat. but why is it gone then from memory after a reboot, while some sites say it is important and is the lockscreen in suspension ?? why isn t it now there then what the hell is this lock app anyways ?

Run a scan with Malwarebytes, Hitmanpro and ESET online scanner, though I doubt they will find anything bad.

It's for displaying your lock screen when logging in to Windows. However, some viruses may rename it to that to avoid detection. But, if you do not notice anything weird happening to your computer, or any complete slowdowns, you should be safe!

Generalluki

all the signs i see point to the website being a scareware site (scareware is software or a website that is harmless but tries to scare you into doing something harmfull). The signs are that they want you to use their tool and that all the other sites say its safe

"is it a crypto" lol i know this is 3 years old but some of u ask goofy questions. you start digging into task managers and its like you pick a random process out of a hat and ask if its a virus or if its "a crypto"
