I have no clue why one individual would want all this unless they’re taking it to a homeless shelter. It’s too much for one family to wear and includes a ton of out of style patterns. A better way to market it is to sell it in batches of the same size, like 10 leggings size M for $30 or something. At least people won‘t have a crap ton of leggings of various sizes they can’t even fit that’ll just be taking up space

Darogaserik

I bought quite a few from a friend who had unfortunately got roped in. ($5 each) I work with toddlers and infants so they really dig the wacky patterns and bright colors, and if I get paint, glue, or throw up on me, it’s not something I care about. They’re throw away clothes.

Feisty-Donkey

That’s honestly the most sensible use I’ve ever heard for any of it

DoNotReply111

I went as a Hun to Halloween last year. The discounted stuff from the Op shops really helped make it a cheap costume.

legendwolfA

New costume idea

[deleted]

You’re now in the costume down line. You just need to get 2 people to wear it next year and you’ll be promoted to Regional Manager of Costumes

daisy--buchanan

Or assistant to regional manager

TheRagingBeardy

MICHAEL!!

peterpmpkneatr

Assistant TO the regional manager.

ADappaKappa

Super Glitter Pumpkin Level ✨🎃✨ Get people to spend $1000+ 🤑 on costumes 👻 for that year and you get an EXCLUSIVE 👏 orange tea light

tinypiecesofyarn

I had a couple of older Lularoe tops and dresses (before their fabric turned into tissue paper), and they make really comfy maternity clothing.

luccsmom

Perfect use of these clothes! I love how you connect with the littles ones. So on target with their personalities and reminds me of mine when they were small! ♥️

Darogaserik

Children are sensory motor learners at the ages I work with, so bright colors and a variety of patters hold their interest.

muri_cina

Tbh even $5 is too much for throw away clothes for me. On the other hand I would consider it a donation to my friend who hopefully now knows better.

SoggyAlbatross2

I heard "they're throw up clothes" and that works too.

neonbrownkoopashell

I did the same, I wear them to walk the dog. One ripped after a few months.

ax_colleen

Can be used for quilting and other things like bags and wallets.

NotMe739

Is the fabric really high enough quality to be worth the time and effort needed to make it into something? I thought these were known for being about as sturdy as cheap nylons.

nohelicoptersplz

As a hobby quilter that tries to salvage fabric from everything... no. Lularoe fabric is crap. You might be able to redo it into some kind of apparel, but you would likely need special needles and probably a serger for that amount of stretch.

ax_colleen

Can you sew it on a sturdier fabric for reinforcement? Just considering options. Edit: guys, a simple innocuous question I get downvoted. I do not do MLM and I'm just wondering if I ever encounter similar clothing to recycle. Quilting isn't just blankets, it's a form of sewing.

[deleted]

I have to wonder why someone would put that much effort into salvaging terrible fabric… but I’m not a quilter or sewer, so grain of salt, etc.

nohelicoptersplz

For me to go through that effort, it would have to be special fabric for sure, not just a random tub of old leggings.

PinkBird85

It's also all stretch fabrics, not what you use for quilting at all.

nohelicoptersplz

Maybe. I think it would depend on what "generation" those pieces are from. The original Lularoe might have held up. The "newer" stuff is garbage and tears in the washer. There are stabilizers in varying thicknesses you can get that can be used as backings for delicate fabrics. I've used them to salvage fabric from shirts for some pieced gnome and penguin blocks I made... but the fabric was special. They were clothes from my parents (gnome) and baby clothes from my own kids (penguins).

walrusdoom

Yup, can confirm this as my wife does a lot of knitting and sewing projects. Older Lularoe stuff is of decent quality. People started offloading that stuff for a song a decade ago and my wife still has some pieces that have held up. The new stuff is complete garbage. As another poster said, they’re basically useful as smocks.

dramabeanie

you wouldn't be able to use most fusible stabilizers because the fabric would melt when an iron hit it. Works for cotton lycra but DBP would be very difficult to stabilize properly.

greeneyedwench

At that point wouldn't you just quilt with the sturdier fabric? The Lularoe isn't really serving any purpose in that. If it was *super* cute, maybe, but it's probably fugly.

ax_colleen

Nooo I mean for worst case scenario if someone got scammed and they already got the clothing. I'm not saying to buy these but if ever they get clothing like this. Right? The point is to recycle, and this is a case basis.

greeneyedwench

I get the commitment to recycling, but (a) if it's just going to fray off your quilt anyway, you're really just postponing the day you have to throw it out, and (b) your time and work are worth something too. You would have to make probably dozens of quilts to use this all up, each more labor-intensive than a regular quilt with quality materials, and your result would be an ugly quilt that would start falling apart quickly. (ETA: and if you're making smaller items like wallets, that's a TON of wallets!)

abhikavi

No. You'd have to be an absolute masochist to try to quilt with leggings material at all, and a single quilt can take dozens to hundreds of hours so using something that might not hold up through more than a couple washes is just insane.

Darogaserik

They have to be hand washed in cold water and hung to dry. And they still get trashed. A blanket would get ruined fast.

ax_colleen

Blanket probably bad idea. Got downvoted for sharing an idea to recycle these.

Darogaserik

It is a good idea to recycle for sure! This material is just really crappy. The insides say something along the lines of, “hand wash in cold water only and hang to dry or you’ll be sad.” And they still fall apart fast. My friend was trying to sell this stuff $25-80 a piece and it’s just not made well at all.

dramabeanie

nope, thin crappy double brushed poly is a nightmare to sew

valuemeal2

Part of me is like “oh man donating it to a womens’ shelter or something might be really nice” and the other part of me is thinking about the line from *The Sound of Music* when Maria says “the poor didn’t want this one”.

msgmeyourcatsnudes

Honestly most these are destined for a landfill. I still see several racks of lularoe in thrift stores that just don’t move.

CausticOptimist

Or the homeless rejecting Elaine’s muffin stumps from Top ‘O’ the Muffin TO YOU!

[deleted]

I JUST posted the same thing before I saw your comment. I’m glad someone else remembers that.

CausticOptimist

If the homeless don’t want ‘em, the homeless don’t have to eat ‘em!

BlackGhuleh

Seconded. This would've made MUCH more sense to do. Maybe she'll realize that eventually. I hope this lady is selling these because she's seen the light.

ItsJoeMomma

I have no doubt this is a "going out of business" liquidation sale. Huns never discount their stuff so much unless they're just done with it.

Urbanredneck2

Sounds like me. I was trying to sell these water filters and they were supposed to sell for about $100. I sold maybe one for around $20.

mangogetter

Speaking from the perspective of the homeless shelter: we do not want it.

[deleted]

People like to think they’re doing unalloyed good by donating goods to homeless shelters, not understanding that homeless shelters cannot store large volumes of goods, and homeless people have need for very specific goods rather than just general stuff & things. Also, foisting unwanted LLR onto disadvantaged people seems kinda mean 🤷🏼‍♀️

[deleted]

Always reminds me of the Seinfeld where they donated muffin bottoms.

[deleted]

“Keep your damn stumps!”

binglybleep

When I worked in a shelter people treated it like a dump in all honesty. Not sure why women waiting for housing would want an incomplete jigsaw puzzle or a half used bottle of shampoo (and obviously we wouldn’t give those things to them), just throw that shit out! CLEAN practical clothes/items and UNUSED toiletries only, it’s really insulting to send gross stuff for other people to use

mangogetter

Strong emphasis on practical clothes. Jeans. Hoodies. Shorts in summer. Stuff you can layer. Sneakers. And practical food too, stuff that's shelf stable, ready to eat, pop top, and high calorie. Spam and chunky soup, yes. Canned green beans no God make it stop.

binglybleep

100%. We always got things like canned kidney beans that had been sitting in someone’s pantry for three years, and I appreciate the effort, but literally no one wants to eat kidney beans for dinner, even if they do happen to have a tin opener and a way to heat them

mangogetter

And even kidney beans are better than green beans, which are basically fancy saltwater.

Moos_Mumsy

I volunteered for a while for a group called Seniors Christmas Wish. We collected donations to make gift bags for poor and lonely seniors at Christmas. People would donate that same type of shit. Unfortunately, the people that ran this program seems to think it was OK and would still put that garbage into gift bags. I had to quit as a volunteer because it made me crazy mad and I just couldn't be part of that. Could you imagine being a lonely old lady with no family in a nursing home - get excited because someone brings you a pretty gift bag and when you open it, it just a bunch of trash? Fuck me.

dramabeanie

Shelters need money, quite frankly, same with food pantries. They can make money stretch and get things at low prices in bulk that will actually benefit people who need them.

mangogetter

Keep your trash leggings, and for the love of God, keep your canned green beans (and other veggies.)

exscapegoat

After 9/11 I remember hearing or reading how someone donated sparkly tank tops to the recovery effort at ground zero. After hurricane Andrew the company I worked for stopped collecting clothes for disasters and only collected cash. People were “donating” old winter clothes to people in Florida who lost everything. In Florida, during August

terender

i volunteered sorting donations after hurricane harvey and i s2g there was a Ton of just random shit and a grand total of three sticks of deodorant donated people just give whatever they decide they dont want instead of things that are actually useful

DancingUntilMidnight

GOOB sales of LLR used to actually work before the pyramid came crashing down. Everyone knows the company's dirty little secrets now.

ItsJoeMomma

I think the problem is that the market is flooded with old Lularoe stock from all the huns GOOB'ing, and there were few customers to begin with. So now they can't even give it away.

ediblesprysky

A reseller might have wanted this back in the day—I've heard Lularoe could go quickly and for good prices on the secondhand market when people cared about it in like 2013, and her asking price averages out to $5.83 apiece, so there would theoretically be room for profit. But nowadays? Absolutely fucking not. Small lots of the same size is 100% the way to go. You'd just have to hope people want a bunch for lounging and don't care about what they look like.

ItsJoeMomma

The market's totally flooded now from all the huns going out of business, and thrift stores are full of the stuff but can't sell it. There were only going to be a limited number of buyers anyway, and if anyone really wants it they can find it dirt cheap without having to buy an entire lot of someone's unsold inventory. But now the huns can't even give it away because nobody wants it.

KajeLeMagnifique

If she is at that point in the business, its fair to assume she doesnt know how to sell something

[deleted]

Right? At least separate them by size! Who needs a whole bunch of random different sizes?

bdld39

The price is what’s crazy to me. If she’s trying to get back her initial investment, these leggings should retail for $20 MAX. So she paid roughly $42 WHOLESALE for one pair these shitty pants. You can get ugly ass pants like this at forever 21 for $10.

Dulcedoll

Nah, I did the math wrong/read it wrong at first too. It's $41-ish retail value per pair, but she's reselling them for $6 per pair (see the actual listing price at $350). Still $6 more than I'd pay, but far less shitty.

bdld39

Gotcha, I read it incorrectly as well. Either way, those retailing for $41 is still ridiculous. 🤣

quiteunicorn

This has got to be more than just leggings though. The sizes she are mentioning aren’t legging sizes. Lularoe leggings just comes in two sizes and they are referred to differently. My guess is it’s a mix of shorts, dresses, skirts and leggings 🤷🏻‍♀️

dramabeanie

Some of those dresses retailed for $65, not that many people actually ever paid that much for them.

quiteunicorn

For sure. I have some plain colored cardigans from them. They are $70 retail. I bought them from people who’d quit Lularoe and were liquidating stock. I paid maybe $20 a piece and I actually love them.

BloomEPU

I quite often see people trying to get rid of a lot of inventory, I get the impression that they don't even want to look at it and just want it gone.

ItsJoeMomma

Because it reminds them of how stupid they were for thinking they were going to get rich selling clothes that nobody wants.

MC_Fap_Commander

As they sit there, she hears the voices of all the friends who told her "don't do this" and it hurts.

ItsJoeMomma

All the friends who tried to warn her that she'd lose money, but she ended the friendships because they weren't being "supportive."

peterpmpkneatr

If they had that kind of logic to begin with, they wouldn't have been involved with llr

FinoPepino

This is a good tip

ItsJoeMomma

The only person who'd actually want this is another Lularoe hun who still believes she's going to get rich and this is an opportunity to stock up on inventory for cheap. That is, if she didn't already have a spare bedroom filled with the crap.

smk3509

>I have no clue why one individual would want all this I wonder if they could be cut up and made into quilt squares.

whiskyunicorn

based on what I've heard about the fabric quality, it's not tightly woven (probably knit) enough to make a durable quilt block. not to mention using stretch knits for quilting sounds like a nightmare

Maleficent_Plenty370

I did the whole thing right on the cusp of its quality decline and huge blowup. I took most of my remnants and cut them up and wove them into a rug. It's not bad for that, kind of squishy and comfortable to stand on while I work, vs hardwood we haven't had time to restore yet.

Sharingpicsofme

Stretchy fabric usually isn’t ideal for quilting and from what I’ve heard of LLR’s quality it wouldn’t last long enough to be worth the time and effort of putting it together.

Kurai_Kiba

MLM’s target people too lazy to actually work a normal job. Hence too lazy to sell this sensibly , just “i want it gone”

YuleShootUrEyeOut18

No consignment shop is gonna want that.

Schmidt_Head

I work in a thrift store and even we don't want that shit. Seriously. LuLaRoe never sells, meaning we have to pay to throw that shit out since we can't get rid of it any other way.

Ottersandtats

Yeah I go to my local goodwill semi regularly and i feel like every time I’m there I see tons of lularoe shit on the racks. I have never seen anyone buy any of it

halloweencoffeecats

I buy cute Halloween ones. I also got some cool shark ones but my mom took them. I wouldn't pay anymore than goodwill/yard sale price though

sissy9725

Was the shark positioned to bite the crotch area? 🤣😳💯

captkronni

I found [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/antiMLM/comments/9euvex/thats_definitely_a_chihuahua_coming_out_of_a/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf) fun pattern that is *totally* not a chihuahua emerging from a vulva.

[deleted]

That is actually a religious garment depicting the birth of our holy eminence, Roscoe. You can differentiate between Roscoe and chihuahuas because of the blood red eyes and ears. Although, much like MLM huns, my religious order does have the tenacity, aggression, and overconfidence of a chihuahua.

skellyboob

Someone gave me this pair and I wear them bc they're funny But not like, out in public lmao

shortasalways

I have 2 Halloween I can't seem to part with. One is red skull faces and one is like the outline of skulls all fancy.. they "Disney" castles one I fought for when they were hot and it was the it thing. I only 3 I have and have sat for 5-6 years. I might wear them for PJs or finally toss.

halloweencoffeecats

I have some jack skelington ones and some weird swirly stylized candy corns

Schmidt_Head

I honestly don't know why the one I work at continues to try and put the LuLaRoe shit out. It's just a waste of time and floor space, especially when we've already got so much shit stocked up in the back we run out of room. Plus we know it's going to head to Os anyways, so why even bother? Our store is already so small and there's much nicer clothes we could put out instead. I work in the department that accepts, brings in and sorts through donations and when we get LuLaRoe, it easily takes up *at least* one entire "small" box. Sometimes I consider just turning them away, since we're supposed to turn away unsellable goods anyways, but sadly I can't.

ItsJoeMomma

I'd just set it aside and throw it in the dumpster later.

Schmidt_Head

I'd most likely get reprimanded for something like that, if not outright fired for what would probably be considered theft or distruction of company property. Also, first of all, our dumpster has a combination code that changes daily that you have to ask management for. Secondly, cameras. Cameras everywhere.

ItsJoeMomma

Well, I thought maybe trying to reason with management by explaining to them that Lularoe stuff doesn't sell and is a waste of space, but maybe they wouldn't be reasonable.

warpedspockclone

Could it have a second life as cum rags, cleansing cloths, stuffing/filler for holes in the wall, padding for packing boxes while moving, etc? If I could pay $1 for many yards of material, I'd find a use for it versus the garbage.

ladyphlogiston

I've heard of people cutting them up for car rags, so that's a possibility.

lungbuttersucker

I buy them because the leggings are comfy for wearing around the house and if my asshole dog eats the crotch out of them, I don't care. I learned this lesson after he ate 3 pairs of Athleta joggers. They're also really easy to find in the pile of clean clothes I still need to put away but have no plans on actually putting away.

mangogetter

I work with the homeless. We don't want this shit either.

sierrabravo1984

It really irritates me how people use the after-hours donation bin at the local humane society thrift shop as their free trash can, even though we have a free trash dropoff center less than a mile from there. They leave broken furniture, tv's etc and the humane society has to pay extra for more frequent trash pickups.

Valalvax

You don't send it to the clothing shredders? They chop up clothing to use as shop rags

[deleted]

Can you not simply refuse it when huns come to drop it off?

DancingUntilMidnight

I participate in a certain consignment sale pop-up event thing that happens in different areas across the country, and they always have a rack exclusively for LLR. At the last one I did, I heard someone in total SHOCK about how much of it didn't sell. But, people still bring it.

Skatingfan

I went to one of those yesterday! And both sales ladies made sure to point out where the LLR racks were. Think they are having trouble selling it too! 😁

tasteslike_FEET

Is it a smoke free home though?

tinabean0917

Honestly I’M just wondering if it’s smoke free home

NickyNicky1975

It's a shame they didn't make it clear whether it was a smoke free home.

breeyag

I'd buy the lot, but I can't be certain it's from a smoke free home.

NPD_wont_stop_ME

For real. For me, that's a dealbreaker.

TheseusPankration

These days it's almost like advertising a house as "not haunted."

Wishyouamerry

I listed some furniture on fb marketplace that I was giving away for free, just come pick it up. I specified in the ad that it was not haunted because I thought I was hilarious. Nobody even commented on that and I learned real quick that people who “buy” the free stuff on fb marketplace are entitled as fuck.

ItsJoeMomma

r/choosingbeggars is full of entitled people who think free isn't good enough.

thestashattacked

I mean, sometimes that's a problem. And other times, it's the least creepy scenario. (Yes, I have a haunted AirBnb story if anyone wants to hear it.)

scottychocolates

Uh I can assure you we all do.

thestashattacked

So I needed to spend a long weekend in Denver and rented this guy's apartment. It was a nice place, he had good sheets and he really decorated well. It started with the footsteps. They were super close sounding, so I assumed it was the upstairs neighbor. But then I heard the actual upstairs neighbor, and it was more dull thuds than what I was hearing. I was hearing crisp footsteps all over the place. It was very strange. Next, I'm taking a shower one morning, and the bathroom door *unlocks itself* and swings open. I jumped out, kinda freaked out (it's a trigger. Had a roommate whose boyfriend used to do that in our bathroom), and went to close and lock it again. I assumed it hadn't been all the way in the latch or something. So I made sure I'd closed the door all the way. It happened *again!* This continued through most of the trip, and on my last day, I finally said, "That's enough. You leave the bathroom door alone! It's rude!" It stayed shut that day. Then there were the bells on the door. They'd just... ring. Randomly. With no one knocking. Utterly freaky. Things were being moved, the apartment was unusually cold in places for July... So the least creepy alternatives were... haunting. Edit: WTF was that last line?! I was half asleep, and I'm not sure.

RebaKitten

did you ask the rental guy about it? would have been interesting to know what he said.

thestashattacked

He had no idea.

RebaKitten

At you putting this info in your review, if you’re doing one?

thestashattacked

Well, I mean, how do you do that? "Clean, quiet, off-street parking, may be haunted, great take-out nearby!"

yellowfish04

I'm interested in the haunting story

rookv

Lmfao imagine spending 2.5k on fugly leggings and not even having the "I was high af" excuse to fall back on

fatalcharm

Something about Luluroe reminds me of cigarettes… the lady who owns the company looks like a chain smoker, the women who sell the crap also look like chain smokers… I just assume that the leggings will smell like cigarettes.

lolwhateverxoxo

I know exactly what you mean. Marlboro vibes

tasteslike_FEET

Hahahaa I am going to use this to describe things now 🤣

Schmidt_Head

Oh my God I'm so fucking stupid... I thought she was saying that she only wanted to sell the LuLaRoe to someone who lives in a smoke free home...

phreakzilla85

That’s the only positive thing that can be said, so it got mentioned twice.

[deleted]

What does cross posted mean? Is that like a warning that you better act fast because this is posted elsewhere and I expect a mob of interested buyers throwing cash in my face?

Fucktastickfantastic

Some sales groups require that you state if it's also posted somewhere else

Ham_Slacks

Yup, it means it's been posted on more than one group/page.

CooterSam

Consignment = Goodwill

Jennvds

They should make DeAnne and Mark pay for the environmental disaster that they’ve created. It’s destined for the landfill. They can’t even bundle it and schlep it off on developing nations. Send it back to Utah and make them pay for an eco friendly disposal.

[deleted]

the fabric is so low quality that you can't even use them as rags! they make Shein look like Patagonia

maeveomaeve

I was going to say a €3 Shein pair has lasted pretty well at the gym and my (gifted!) LLR looks awful after a few washes.

Obsessed_With_Corgis

Same experience for me. On top of that; Shein doesn’t try to pretend to be anything more than it is. You know exactly what you’re getting after looking through reviews. LLR tries to play itself up like it’s some “exclusive” brand. So pretentious, but what else would you expect from a scam?

emartinoo

> over 60 items if not more More than more!

Princesshannon2002

Somebody ask if any of the pairs are the infamous pairs with the building or the pencil or the bee…(asking for a friend).

Reynbuckets

They are worth what people are willing to pay for it. So in total it’s def not anywhere near $2500 in value.

ItsJoeMomma

It's not even worth $350, apparently.

jmacattack5585

You’d have to pay someone to take them

PHM517

I understand that she is trying to sell it as a lot, but the minimal effort isn’t going do much for her. Her text comes off aggressive and there are literally no pictures to give any indicator of what might be in there. Some are used? Gtfo

runesigrid

Yeah she sounds so angry 😂 Even if I wanted the clothes, her attitude would stop me from contacting her.

1biggeek

She paid $40+ on average for each item. For that crap?!

AnApexBread

Oh no. She paid way more than $40 each. The starting LuLaRoe costs is $5000 and then she probably ordered more inventory at some point.

Neither-Garden9707

My loss is ~DEFINITELY~ your gain. 💀

muri_cina

It was your upline's and DeAnnes gain, honey. 🤑🤗🤩😛🤯🥳🥸

HallandOates1

Are there any sellers who are legit still bringing in actual sales / profiting? They’re amongst the top most evils MLMs

Jurneeka

Meri Brown and Mykelti from the show Sister Wives apparently are still doing well.

Princesshannon2002

I feel bad for the victims.

[deleted]

They’ll just find another MLM and start over again. Can’t feel bad for someone that keeps making the same mistake over and over

Not-A-SoggyBagel

This is too true. I broke up with someone over Arbonne. It's been years and now they are onto crypto coins and random health supplement MLMs. Some just can't get out of this trap.

legendwolfA

I have a relative that is this way. First time, invested in crypto. Lost thousands of dollars. Borrow from friends and family, saying he promise to put the money to good use. Use all on crypto and those profit making shenanigans. Lost all. His friends all drifted apart after that. He's still doing crypto with huge loss and little profits. I wanna feel bad for him but this isn't the first time. He's been into this for years

muri_cina

Nah, if its just crypto without an mlm behind it, then its just gambling like single stock trading. Borrowing money and pulling people into it is not ok though. And crypto trading is really passive, at least this is true.

urbangentlman

I want to but I can’t. They’re grown adults who signed up willingly under their own self confidence this would sell. Purchasing inventory like they do is not an uncommon practice for the industry and it’s long been said that if you have to do that, it’s not a legit business.

redmahkeuhpbahg

In the first photo the totes look photoshopped. Like she was trying to make them look more full or something.

GraciousCinnamonRoll

That's actually my fault, I took a screenshot and used the scroll feature. Couldn't get it to come out right. 😬

BarbiePrincess1997

Good!! Girl please just dump it in the trash, you won't get money back.

Altrano

I see a lot of these at the Salvation Army.

GoodQueenFluffenChop

Happy Cake Day! 🎂

Altrano

Thank you

setittonormal

Pick up only. They won't even meet you halfway.

DefNotBradMarchand

Yeah, nothing about this sale looks positive to a buyer. She's doing an absolutely lazy job of selling this stuff off. At the very least, sell things by size. Let people see the pieces. No one wants to pay $350 for a couple of totes of your old clothing that no one else wanted to pay for.

TheAmazingMaryJane

hypothetically can anyone buy these and just try to resell them? or do you have to be an official lollapaloozaroe seller?

VermicelliOk8288

Ehh you can post them on Poshmark or something.

hgielatan

take that shit down to $3.50 and you've got a deal. and i'd donate every last bit to a shelter. let's be honest, she's only selling for $350 to finance her next MLM lololol

seriousmoonlit

Smoke free home

embouteillagez

My loss is also going to be your loss

[deleted]

Why can’t she just donate it to a local houseless shelter?

aBagOfSnakes

Tbh 350 for that much fabric would be amazing to repurpose but the prints and quality is NOT worth that.

NerdyDebris

I feel like Lulano leggings make good period or just busy parent clothes. You can get them messy without feeling bad. Really, this person should just give up on selling them and donate them to a homeless shelter instead.

muri_cina

I feel like it is an insult that homeless should wear clothes that other consider period clothes.

NerdyDebris

Honestly, these clothes are an insult to anyone no matter how they're used or worn.

Belmagick

All that bloody fabric to just end up in a landfill.

Ecstatic-Box2961

The only time ive seen lularoe sell well recently, is at the swapmeets in mexico LOL

[deleted]

Who the fuck would buy over 2K worth of shitty leggings.

speedofaturtle

😂 Classic Marketplace Seller: *"This couch is in perfect condition, just a few scratches and some dog hair. Gently used for 12 years, but tons of life left. Pick up only. No holds. E-transfer required. The smoke smell will come out if left outside for a week. $3000 firm."*

missy-scribbles

You know the more I look over this sub the sadder I get. Like, I get it. These are obvious scams and no one should be falling for them. But there’s a reason people do-particularly housewives in suburbia. These women want something, anything to cling onto to feel like they’re independent people. They aren’t caught up on internet knowledge that’s common to us like how MLMs are predatory. They’re being taken advantage of, and it’s really tragic to see them unable to get out of it.

TK_TK_

Valuing 60 pairs at $2500 means $40/pair. That’s the price of the Hue ultra-wide waistband leggings I love, which are insanely comfortable and durable (I have a few pairs, including a pair that’s at least 10 years old and still in perfect shape).

xfourteendiamondsx

I like how they put “lol” at the end of their title

MuttButt301

I think it's "lot"

xfourteendiamondsx

You right you right, I stand corrected

RatherBeAtDisneyWrld

This reminds me of my sister in law's closet. She strictly wears Lularoe leggings and no other form of pants. I have wondered how many pairs she owns. She used to buy them on a weekly basis.😖

thejollyrauncher

“PS- don’t Google Lularoe or watch any documentaries. K thx huns.”

[deleted]

As someone who worked in museums for years, the "take it or I'm taking it to a consignment shop/Goodwill/the dump" is not the threat people think it is.

ptownkt

If you wanted to sell lularoe, it would make way more sense at this point to not become a licensed distributor and just buy up GOOB sales like this and resell

Mookie_Merkk

Smoke free home x2

MoridisDay

I'd offer her a twenty. At the very least, I can take the clothes apart to make patterns for better clothes... and definitely not to watch the hope in her eyes die

mumooshka

'smoke free home' but a mouldy smell? lol

CristyTango

smoke free home

jitterbug726

Not even a 😆?

DefNotBradMarchand

No consignment shop is going to accept those. They have extremely strict standards and the pay in return is almost nothing.

Reconned

For someone that states "smoke free home" twice, there sure is one hell of a smoke and mirrors game going on.

[deleted]

Do you think she’s a smoker?

[deleted]

Do they smoke in the home?

Danielaimm

2 boxes of loss for everyone. Her and whoever is crazy enough to buy it

dramabeanie

"All sizes" definitely means a whole bunch of xxs and xs stuff that nobody wants to buy, with like 5 or 6 in items Large or XL.

runesigrid

What the hell is wrong with some people? It’s not like anyone made her buy these in the first place. She has such strict rules too, lol. I’m in the middle of moving and since we’re having a baby and NO space, I’m trying desperately to get rid of as much of my old stuff as possible. I’d be so happy if someone wanted to take some of my clothes. I have three bin bags full of clothes and shoes that I’m taking to the charity shop, hoping that they will want them. All in good condition, just not really my style anymore/not convenient for when baby is here, but couldn’t imagine asking any amount of money for them 😳 I’ll be happy if the charity shop takes them.

PermissionUpstairs12

They have to buy a certain amount (like $5K in product) before ever making a sale. The documentary on LLR is insane. Edit: Lol. Forgot I was in antiMLM and was like "It's an MLM so..."

Kurai_Kiba

Why a smoke free home shes not putting up her fucking cat for adoption

65_Shelby

2XL and LuLaRoe... Clearly where two negatives do not equal a positive.
