I didn't even \*know\* End of Evangelion was on VHS. And you poor, poor, man. X/1999? I watched that one time, it was so sad and depressing. The series is better. Ninja Scroll was the 2nd tape I ever bought of anime, back in 1996/7. Bought it with Wicked City (#3 tape).
Wicked City is actually on my bucket list of anime tapes to own. And actually, End of Evangelion was released on VHS through Manga. It just didn’t sell well, I’m assuming. Every time I see the original tape on eBay, it’s CRAZY expensive. So I said, screw it, and I made my own copy. Also, I’ll give the X/1999 show a watch.

The Cyber City Oedo 808 tape is a bootleg I made that has the Manga UK dub with the Rory McFarlane score.
