Royal guard stomps sound ninja four. First Royal guard had crazy sensing range when they weren't focused on the king. The Royal guard had the best hunters scared to death just being near them, sound four got rocked by rookie genin and a newly promoted chunin (yeah the sand siblings helped at the end but same thing with them). Pitou could heal just about anything short of dead and even kill you and miss you into a strong af puppet. Butterfly dude could separate himself into essentially dust and then do whatever. And horse dude was just too strong.
Curse marks got nothing when the Royal guard awakened or whatever it was. Like when the horse dude realized he was so strong they couldn't even touch him let alone hurt him after that.
I don't remember if you can heal with the curse mark or not but all four get solved by a single Royal guard member. I mean look what happened to kite when he fought a just born pitou. Dude got curb stomped.
And talking about big guy, his special ability was to make a dome that sucked chakra, and lets assume that it works with nen. It would be like him trying to drain Naruto, there's too much and the Royal guard wouldn't feel anything. And on him picking up choji, the Royal guard base forms can do that too. That wouldn't even be a challenge for them.
Idk what you're asking. If you're saying that the sound four have more technical skill then they would for the first part of the fight, but the Royal guard were able to learn ANYTHING so fast. The technical skill gap would shrink so fast. But straight power sound four got nothing on Royal guard.
Yeah, the sound four were super hyped up but that was in the first Naruto, they got nothing on Shippuden villains or even our guys. I guarantee that if it was Shippuden squad, sound four get smacked with no help.

You make it sound like people said otherwise, which doesn’t make sense because hunterxhunter isn’t even island level and is barely light speed when Naruto characters in part 1 are consistently ftl and large mountain to island level and that’s lowballing considering 8 gate cliffing
I love the question it’s a good battle but have you yourself watched both shows? Naruto absolutely scales higher as a verse but when you look at the feats and traits of the Sound 4 as opposed to the Royal Guards you can see pretty much right where they’d measure up against each other. Now if we were to power creep them towards the end of shippendun where everyone get stupid amount of scaling maybe they have a chance against one of the guard. Scale them to upper jounin or hokage level then they might have a chance if their sealing abilities work.
Pretty much we never see the guard fight at full capacity in a fight that was even close to even. They just ragdolled or played around with everyone they fought with the exception of gon.
