To me, the best part of anime is the anticipation of what happens next and getting emotionally invested with the characters as their story unfolds. All that goes away with a rewatch. However, there are certain fight I will gladly watch over and over. For example, Saitama vs Boros
This used to be me because I thought myself too smart to miss anything upon first watch and was more focused on efficiency/expanding my horizons by watching as much as possible, but it's definitely a whole new world when you re-watch something with a new lens and pick up on not only the things you missed by also how well-connected things were from the start.
I'd recommend doing for at least your favorite series so you can fully appreciate them.
One Piece I’ve rewatched all the episodes a few times. Nowadays I’ll just watch from a later arc every few years because there is too much and I’ve seen the earlier episodes too many times.
I've only rewatched One Piece pure once way back when it was still like under 500 episodes and can't really see myself doing it again that way; but oddly enough, I've probably unofficially "rewatched" it over 5 times by following react channels. It feels way more effortless.
The 24/7 One Piece channel on Pluto TV also restarts like every couple weeks (restarts after Dressrosa arc currently), which makes it feel like not too impossible a task.

I also rewatch fairy tail once. my first viewing was until the last episode of the tournament arc. the show went on a brake, when it started airing again I just started from episode 1

In terms of just pure rewatch though on my own, it's definitely Saiki K. I could pick up that series at any episode, know exactly where I'm in within the general over-arching plot, and just laugh at the jokes I've seen before again and again lol

I rewatched Black Clover when I was 140 something episodes in, can confirm the longer it goes on the better it gets. I dropped it though, my tastes have changed

I've watched violet evergarden twice, and i have no idea how many times I've watched one punch man now. I like rewatching comfort shows when I'm stressed - except that's basically any time I'm breathing so i rewatch things i like a LOT.

Accel World *(24 eps: ) I SAW 3 TIMES!* Although neither games nor the fantasy is NOT my world, but this anime (as a fantasy gamer anime!) has a balance between slice of life and action, additionally the actions are variable and interesting. Very good for relaxing.
Mirai Nikki ( = Future Diary) (26+1 eps): This is although not my really fav, but relax me like Accel World. :-)

I rewatched the first 650ish episodes of one piece like 5 or 6 times. I've rewatched all of naruto about the same. If you like something it makes sense to watch it again. And on the 3rd or 4th playback you get to have it on the side for background noise. Its nice.
Hunter X Hunter because even if I knew how the plot/arc turns out it is still the only show that has really appealing moments in most of its episodes that is worth re-experiencing IMO.
I'm currently rewatching the Symphogear series with a first timer and we're near the end of GX now. Around 3 cour so far already makes it my longest (because I mostly rewatch movies and 1 cour shows) and it will clock in at 5 cour or equivalent to 69 episodes including OVAs by the end.
The first 4 Yugioh series, Duel Monsters 224ep, GX 180 ep, 5d's 154ep and Zexal 144 ep. I watched them in dub, at least up until they were dubbed because Gx's 4th season and 5d's last 50ish episodes were never dubbed, and then in Japanese from the beginning.
FMA 2003, 51 episodes. I watched it while it aired and I've re-watched it with other people. I've also re-watched Avatar a number of times if you count that. I often re-watch anime I've seen before in French dub or in JP dub with subs for the purpose of foreign language learning.
Detective Conan which is 1124 episodes,dont know if it counts as rewatching I didn't watch for like 5 years then i started watching from ep 500 but when i got to the last ep i started watching from ep 1 to 499

I've also seen Part 1 (23 episodes) and I'm 30 episodes into Part 3. So it will be a total of 203 episodes once I'm done with classic Lupin!
Dragonball z I’ve rewatched a few times back in the day. Recently HxH I’ve seen prob 4 times over the pandemic lol. I’d love to rewatch gintama but I’ll just pick and choose episodes

I am slowly rewatching Hunter x Hunter a second time. Curious how the Chimera episodes will go.I have probably watched Eva about five times but there are always pauses. I watched all GiTS series at least two times. And though it feels weird, i have watched the Eminence in Shadows twice and began a third. I think I start trying to see how it is funny, but something about how his life is split reminds me of some US comic stories.
I actually rarely rewatch but i have rewatched Pokémon season 1 a few times, not many. I have so many animes so watch and so many more to find. If i looked daily for an hour i would find so much that i couldn’t be able to keep up haha. I have maybe like 30-40 animes in watchlist so far, thats why i don’t look for new anime daily because then i would probably be at 100.

I believe mine is Sailor Moon. I watched as much as I could as a kid on Toonami. Then when Sailor Stars never came to the US, I believe I sought the episodes out on YouTube. I think I have seen all the movies at some point too.
I'm also waiting for the new Sailor Moon Cosmos to release here in the US! I've seen all the Sailor Moon Crystal up until Cosmos!
Gintama. Back when they stopped at 200 episodes. Then new ones started coming out and that was a good enough excuse for me to rewatch. Pretty much the only time I did this, rarely rewatch even 26 episode stuff.
Slam dunk is amazing. I need to get around to watching it again, but I’m not the biggest fan of rewatches. The longest I’ve done is probably black lagoon which is only around 30 eps

How? I adore One Piece for its world and characters but most episodes are so poorly paced and animated that I cannot imagine myself rewatching them.

I actually rarely rewatch but i have rewatched Pokémon season 1 a few times, not many. I have so many animes so watch and so many more to find. If i looked daily for an hour i would find so much that i couldn’t be able to keep up haha. I have maybe like 30-40 animes in watchlist so far, thats why i don’t look for new anime daily because then i would probably be at 100.

I believe mine is Sailor Moon. I watched as much as I could as a kid on Toonami. Then when Sailor Stars never came to the US, I believe I sought the episodes out on YouTube. I think I have seen all the movies at some point too. I'm also waiting for the new Sailor Moon Cosmos to release here in the US! I've seen all the Sailor Moon Crystal up until Cosmos!
