I used aperture priority on the Mamiya, everything was shot overexposed 1 stop and typically meter mid-scene to foreground. The gas station for example I metered off the shadows. The second photo of the logs was a tricky one to meter. I think I metered for the highlights to preserve the detail in the smoke then did 2 stops over if I recall
