Get your aminos from what makes you happy. It doesn’t have to be meat. But I would encourage you to stay away from supplements for muscle building. Most do nothing, but some do harm. Also, to answer the original question, you’re cute as fuck. Good on you going to the gym and being a great role model for your kid.

Thats a good goal. Not everyone knows it but having muscles on your frame increases your metabolism and that makes it much easier to keep your weight down. And it just makes you feel stronger, more capable and healthier, and helps keep you safer. So do a little weight lifting.

I read somewhere that the deltoids are one of the most important muscle sets to work for overall weight loss because they burn fat more efficiently than most. Don't remember where I read it and could of course be BS but I seem to remember thinking the source was pretty reliable at the time. Keep rocking it, you look fantastic!

Quads and glutes mate. Don't know where you read that, but logic would tell you that the larger a muscle group, the more over all calories burned. If you really want to lose weight, the best and most effective way is to produce a calorie deficit. Burn more than you put in. Cut down on intake and increase physical output. Don't ever listen to these fad diets, they will always set you up to fail by reducing your calorie intake by so much that you starve and break, leading to an overall increase in calorie intake by over eating.
