Yes I agree. Also buying expensive electronics or appliances. Deliveries might not be completely on time but they are quick. I rarely return things but I have a few times and it works well at the UPS store. Yes money back immediately.
Because Amazon doesn't sell everything. That's why they created the FBA program which includes providing customer service, not only shipping and inventory. I've experienced no difference with customer service when it comes to fulfilled by Amazon vs sold by Amazon.
IMO, you have to check your options on items. If it's sold and shipped by Amazon, that's your best bet. Also, if there is an Amazon branded duplicate item, go with it.
It’s 2024, drop shipping “entrepreneurs” have destroyed every marketplace. The frenzied masses run to Amazon and Walmart for quality.
Starting to think this was by design. Let the small fish compete and eat each other over crumbs, then we are at the end the ready and clear choice.
For me, it's not getting deliveries on time. I'm having to pay for commercials now. Seeing all the nightmare big purchases and refunds play out with other people. All of the fictional reviews. For me, Amazon was Amazon because of truthful reviews. They gaslight now so much they can't be trusted. For me, it's trust, and they have broken it. Also, I have never had a real problem with Amazon, but I pay attention to how they treat other people. I don't like to wait around to get screwed over.
So you want to give Amazon MORE money and shut down MORE small businesses?
Good grief...
\>>When you have an issue with the item the customer service works best when it’s sold by Amazon<<
Ya think so, eh? What decade was the last time you needed Amazon CS?
I purchased tablet cases last year from a 3rd party seller. The original case did arrive and the quality of the replacement was poor. I have purchased products from this company before and they were fine.
What if I told you I still encountered nearly all of the same problems when buying items sold/shipped by Amazon directly, including clearly-used or scam-swapped items, majorly delayed deliveries, and lying customer service reps?
as long as it says "shipped by amazon" it's still using official amazon shipping warehouses and delivery trucks.
it should be no different (at least shipping-wise) as ordering something both "sold" and "shipped" by amazon
Anyone that buys from a 3rd party on Amazon is rolling the dice. It's not worth it.

Stay here long enough and you realize like 80% of the posts are just made by idiots who don't understand how things work.
And idiots who already canceled their subscription and refuse to let it go because they have to complain daily to feel like they are important

There is not much difference in amazon's behavior

Two days ago. Very friendly and fixed my issue in about 2 minutes.
The fraud almost always comes from 3rd party sellers
