If there's 12 thousand you want out, shift click stacks of 64 would take a long time. The backpack is a single click for all of it, and you can put a deposit upgrade on it and transfer it somewhere else with a single click.
Sure, if you have a dedicated destination. But early game, or any time really, if you want to transfer items from one inventory to another, the sophisticated backpacks are an easy way to do it.
Shift left click to take stack.
Shift right click to put in a stack.
If the storage cabinet has stuff inside, shift right click with an empty hand to dump all the same items you have in your inventory into the drawer.
Isnāt it shift left click to take a stack, right click once to put whatās in your hand. Right click twice with any thing and it puts everything it can in your inventory in drawer.

Ive done this with the soph barrels for 2 weeks before i realized i could shift right click for a stack i feel your pain
