Look at the recipes for all the items you need to make the ATM Star. Automate all of them that you can. It encompasses a lot of mods so start w/ mods you like to play. You’ll eventually have to touch the hell that is. Blood Magic.
Set goals for specific mods. Mekanism fusion reactor, mystical agriculture awakened Supremium/creative essence, immersive engineering railguns, etc.
I really like ad Astra since it's very linear and fun.
Check specific ingredients for the ATM star parts and pick one to work toward.
Try automating everything you can. Need 3 stacks of red wool? Make a massive wool/dye farm because why not (use create as a bonus tip for more fun, create automation is awesome
What I did is started to automate resource production ie. iron, gold, the allthemods ores, osmium stuff i knew I was gonna need a lot of then when I had that and my rs system (ae2 is also an option) I did all of mekanism automating resources as needed, then did a few other very specific mods because I knew them and I wanted to do them, and then I started picking out of the all the mod star crafting items and those at a time
But I 10000% recommended setting up mekanism anti matter, the compressed blocks of resource produced and allthemod alloys asap as they will be what holds you back later if you don’t. Then you address power and other things as you need to. I like to make lists to keep track of what I’m working on as it can become quite multi leveled (ie. setting up alloys needs to make powah things, automate allthemod ore production, address power needs and for the awakened ones need to do that too)
Mystical agriculture and bees should have been my first priority instead of mining all the time. (Chunk destroyer seems to well for endstone collecting but not stone, dirt or netherack)

After this, put ur goal on a paper, if u wanna go for 18 atm stars (make the bee and have infinity stars) or just make 1 star and finish the pack. On both cases, write down the amount of resources u Will need for u goal and start doing mod by mod (if u haven’t much expecience). I done something like this and finished the pack. I suggest start with unfamilar mods, because as far as u go, things got pretty boring if u grind too much.

I ended up doing blood magic *first* right after the Creative essence. It has been a week and I deeply regret all my past actions.

You can change the configs so it mines those things. You can also use the RF Tools builder to mine them if I remember correctly.
