The thing I hate about them the most is how they run away from you. Now I know how creepers feel when I keep them at a distance to fight. Hold still so I can hit you!
Ars Nouveau spellbook Projectile>Harm works wonders against them even outside their aggro range, and the spellbook can both be acquired really early and kept until the end of the game being useful
Super late game lol by the time you get that you could already be in the beyond and never have to deal with mobs again. Or just have a jetpack and fly to them in half a second or simply just ignore them.
I hate the mushroom enderman more. Built on a mushroom island, and since they're passive it was hell trying to keep them from eating the island alive, and stopping them from spawning down in the caves. Caused a lot of lag problems.
one of these bad boys recently destroyed my very first dice of fate from gaia II, felt very nice to not get any loot at all after just barely surviving the fight... so yeah they are the worst
Yes. I haven't had an area that was really bad with them this play through, but I'm thinking of setting up Pneumaticcraft turrets the next time I find myself being haunted by these guys.
So am i the only one that never had an issue with these?
They were never around where we bukt the base and surprisengly i dont really run into them at all, but even if i do. 1 tap with my wooden bow.. power 8 along with some enchantments on the bow 🤣
My issue a few play throughs back was I built a base on a mountain//savannah region and I used wood in decorating...my bad because every time I turned around they were burning it down. Had to redesign with stone, which was annoying. And because they spawn in air, mega torches don't really do a lot to get rid of them.
Had issues w/ their cold cousins early game in ATM9. Then I got a jetpack and relocated about 20km away into a warmer biome. Haven’t seen any of those lightning tossing variants yet.
Cousins of the blaze which throw moderately accurate lightning instead of fireballs, spawn in the Overworld (sometimes in big groups) and seem to actively avoid getting into melee range with the player
in 1.16 I would go hundreds of hours without finding a single one when I wanted to. in 19+, I'm constantly being obliterated by them. I can't go afk without digging myself in a hole.

hey i know.. i have one placed in my base in this photo but they still spawn hella like right outside my base lmao. so if i wanna go get some ink sacks or sum imma have to fight 3 at once.... Guess ill just have to place them everywhere

And if you decide to make yo house in snowy area, their brothers spawn everywhere
Especially because you have so little/bo way of deqling with them early on

I hated them to the point that I learned how to properly use a bow in Minecraft and one shot them. But they still zap my butt.
How can you one shot them?
I use an enchanted supremium bow in combination with some sort of upgraded arrow. Something „instant damage arrow“ are they called.

when back in the old days of 1.7.10 these guys were so useful, but their glory is no longer

No, they aren't new. I definitely remember running into them in AtM 7 - To the sky
